- I see your 1on1 and raise you a 3on1
- Football, Bloody Hell...
- [META] We get it. The opposition had one shot on target, you had 40, but you still lost. Incredible.
- Relatively new, would this guy be considered a good regen? 2.5 stars ability and 4.5 gold stars potential with 5 black star potential.
- You're delighted that I'm not pleased, Ryan?
- The Perfect Assist
- I just came back from two goals down against Man City and then this happened... I want to cry
- Many, many years I've played this game and I genuinely did not know this could happen with regens! The game does actually make and keep track of siblings! Does anyone else have notable examples of this happening? I'm really curious to hear!
- what a ridiculous suggestion
- Leicester Road - Season 2 - Tier 10 team, road to the Premier League - No Transfers Allowed
- Newcastle spent 129 milion pounds after they got relegated to the Championship in 2020
- I think my fans and their spokesperson are having a bit of a communication gap
- I hope he means the team young boys
- Wimbledon had a tough time in the championship
- Saw this buddy in a second hand store. Shame I did not have 10€ on me.
- A love letter to the [Advanced Playmaker - Attack] role for wingers.
- Sticks £100 on Price to be sacked first
- After the 5 - 0 I went to make a sandwich... then this happened.
- Crowning moment of my beta save so far. League One vs Premier League :)
- #WoodwardOut
- You love to see it.
- So my DoF bought this player for $29.000
- He’s a Argentinian winger - 28 been at the club since 21 love him :)
- if you vacation in between matches, do your coaching attributes not contribute towards training?

Posted: 11 Nov 2019 01:19 AM PST I enjoy seeing the experiences of others but I can't be the only one beyond tired of seeing those posts. There's 3-4 of those every single day. [link] [comments]

Leicester Road - Season 2 - Tier 10 team, road to the Premier League - No Transfers Allowed Posted: 11 Nov 2019 10:00 AM PST What's my goal with this save: Take over a tier 10 English club, get them promoted all the way to the premier league without buying a single player i.e. only relying on regens from my youth academy! I wrote a very short summary for my first season and you can find it here SEASON 1 I've decided to take a lot more screenshots and I'll try to write a more comprehensive summary from now on even though writing skills aren't my best virtue. If you've read the season 1 summary you must have noticed how Ilkeston literally smashed the whole leage with only 5 draws and 0 defeats. Since they got promoted I was expecting a fierce battle with my club great rival Hinckley next season. (Leicester Road and Hinckley were both formed in 2014 when Hinckley United dissolved in 2013) Sadly when the fixtures for the next season were revealed, Hinckley were transferred to another tier 10 league Also I had the most terrible youth intake in season 1 since not a single player was a serious first 11 contender Youth candidates S1 and here are the best players from that generation introduced in my 1st squad My Team Season 2 started terribly wrong. Since a lot of my income comes from playing in the preliminary and qualifying stages of the FA Cup, I literally lost in the first round by drawing the first game 1-1 and then loosing 3-1 against Radcliffe who, to be fair were a very strong opponent. Immediatelly I lost in the Midland League Cup which honestly I do not care so much about but I do hate loosing. Getting knocked out early in those cups meant I got to play league games every 7 days which meant my players would be nicely rested while the rest of the league would have to play every 3-4 days. I exploited this unfortunate situation and had a massive start in the league with a 6-0-0 run. My very first defeat was against Brocton and you guessed it, the very last team in the league in the 22nd position, 0-2. https://i.imgur.com/xI8lJzj.jpg The rest of the season went on with me dominating pretty much and in late september the FA Vase started and that's where I wanted to redeem myself. FA Vase cup is a cup where teams from tier 8 and below compete. I managed to get by a few hairy situations such as only winning in the 2nd round after extra time against Staveley Miners Welfare, drawing in both 4th and 5th round and then winning in the rematches. I had some unbelieveable games against much stronger teams... I somehow manager to secure a ticket to the legendary Wembley stadium against Durham City. It was a nailbiting game infront of a record breaking (/s) 450 people at Webley! No team were dominating the other, a very even match but they managed to get the lead in the 20th minute. In the 75min I was relieved by equalizing the result. 1-1. Nothing much was going on and I saved 1 substitution since a draw and extra time was pretty much guaranteed. They used all 3 subs and I thought I'd had an edge in overtime. Ref shows +3min, and they had a free kick on their part of the half court (they wore white shirts). I thought it was over, then this happened https://i.imgur.com/ttL6YjS.mp4 As far as the league goes, it went on as it started with me having a pretty laid back season since there was no Ilkeston this time... for now :) Here are some screenshots: Regens Season 2 - Got an amazing striker and a much needed 2nd GK. There rest were fillers, hoping to train them into usable players in the future. Club Facilities, Sponsors and Finances PS: I use Swedish Kr as currency. Just divide it by 10 and you get euros/dollars. Also feel free to make suggestions on my post format. How to make it more pleasant to read. [link] [comments]

A love letter to the [Advanced Playmaker - Attack] role for wingers. Posted: 11 Nov 2019 08:30 AM PST TL DR: Inside Forwards that are mostly about dribbling/flair/accelaration rather than off the ball/Finishing "CAN" be better used as Advanced Playmakers (even if their Passing/Vision isn't top tier) I've been paying this game for a good 6 years now and since then there is a role that I've used extensively and with great success but I don't see used often (in shared tacticts or let's plays), it's the Advanced Playmaker - Attack but on wing players I'm only talking about using the role on your AM(LR) and not elsewhere as I know it's pretty popular on central players. The reason I talk about it is because 90% of the players in these positions are either wingers if it's on their strong foot side or Inside forward if it's on their weakfootside. I've realized for a while now that for a lot of players that are natural as IF, the AP(A) suits them more. The main difference being that a IF will play much closer to the defense and usually wider, needing a playmaker or a B2B type mid to bring/send the ball to him. A.Playermakers on Attack will move around much more to come and get the ball (you can have some control on that with PI's) and once he gets the ball he will instantly bomb forward and run into any space that's open, often using dribbles to eliminate one or more opposing players. That's the reason I feel this role is underused. I feel for players that are mostly good at dribbling (with decend passing and off the ball) this is by far the best role, as it allows them to destroy opposing lines and formation. Example of players i'd use AP(A) over IF: Hazard, Neymar, Messi, Mahrez, Neres, Douglas Costa... Players I wouldn't use AP(A) over IF: Mbappe,Sterling, Bale... Long post, But I hope it make somebody try it, this ahs been by go to rôle for the past 5 years of FM. If you use it, please feel free to share your experience with it. [link] [comments]
