If there are no shots against your team, GK's rating keeps decreasing instead of staying at 6.7. My GK is averaging 6.1-6.4 every season. A fix perhaps?

    Arsenal in FM 2021

    Posted: 14 Dec 2020 07:38 PM PST

Has anyone here had any success managing Arsenal on this year's version of the game? Wanted to hear how you all have been doing, I'm currently in the 2024-25 season and while I've replaced a lot of the deadwood like Xhaka, etc, I feel like I haven't made much progress. I haven't won nearly anything, though I've finished around 3rd or 4th every year, plus or minus one.

If you haven't tried arsenal, I'd still be interested to hear any stories from similar teams! Also, if anyone who has wants to see screenshots of anything I'd be glad to share.

Does anyone take a contract on low weekly wages to ease financial damage to their club?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2020 04:25 PM PST

I'm playing with a club on one of my saves that has a lot of debt, and each month around 7 million goes out for repayments alone, and then comes other expensive like wages (13 million a month) and bonuses etc. Last season I was at a 63 million loss. My current contract is 275k a week for me, but I realised something. The wage your character has doesn't have any [positive] impact to the game really, only takes money out the club right (assuming the manager's wage actually is taken out of the club's revenue in the game)? I'm thinking of asking for like £1 a week on my next contract offer if possible, to save the club some money. Has anyone else done this?
