Meta - fake injuries from downloaded packs Posted: 18 Jun 2020 02:53 PM PDT Am I the only person who thinks posts solely related to "funny" weird injuries - that are not part of the base game as they are fan made content - shouldn't be allowed on the sub? Last week we had a post about a player with depression being out for a couple of weeks get quite high, SI games even had to post a disclaimer about it on twitter. I'm just tired of seeing posts about weird injuries that only exist in ridiculous injury addons. Its not impressive or interesting that if you download a weird injury pack you then get weird injuries... Two things that have revolutionised my save (part 1) Posted: 18 Jun 2020 07:46 AM PDT If you're someone who likes a long term save, this tip will reform your strategy! It's more of a tip for the long term development of your team but if you find the right gem then they could slot straight into the first XI. ( some of you may be aware of this but thought I'd share.) During the months of March to April (in my bundesliga save anyway) European clubs experience their youth intake. We all know that some absolutely filthy regens are created in game and this is your chance to create a monopoly on them. If you press the globe icon in the top right of your screen, then go world>transfers>youth intake, you will see all the new players being added to the game. During the months of March and April for Europe (or December ish for S America), revisit this tab daily and all the new players will be available on approach to sign! If you add each new player to shortlist, then filter through so you only scout players worth ~100k+ , and then remove the rest from shortlist. Make sure you have good scouts with high PA rating, and look at the reports/stats of these players. Any player that has high determination/ good personalities and key stats for that role at around 9+ is a definite buy. If you're a big club with pulling power, I would recommend submitting a transfer bid (normally 500k+ clauses of 500k), as regardless of value the clubs will accept low offers. I've picked up 15m regens for 2m from youth intakes. Three things to be wary of: make sure to exclude percentage of profit from next sale, and be prepared to pay high wages for youth players (3-15k). Also clubs will only accept low offers when the player is available on approach to sign If you're a small club, use the approach to sign option for big players if you can't afford up front free (compensation is higher on approach to sign than buying normally but it's based on clauses and future payments.) Also easy to see if player is willing to move to you, avoiding the hassle of transfer negotiation to then be hit by the not interested email. The value for lower divisions is always lower so a 50k player in league 2 etc may be worth scouting. A 50k player from top division club will not be. That's it - the players take a few years to develop but I've reached 2027 and some of the players I've picked up are worth 60m+ and I picked them up for 500k and appearance clauses!! I'll add screenshots in comments below. This technique is a must if you enjoy developing youngsters, as it's cheap and you can sell for large profit or sell first team players on huge wages when you're ready to replace. We finally did it! Posted: 18 Jun 2020 06:04 PM PDT After being appointed by the club in their first year in the Vanarama South (2021), we managed to get to the Prem and stay! It wasn't always easy and I had to rely on loan players, which I eventually bought in the Championship. Now the club got super rich, I got around 70M for transfers, but the big clubs of the Prem have entire rosters of world class players, so I'll have to play catch up for quite some time.
