This is to seperate these kinds of questions from the Help Thread, which is more for gameplay/tactics questions

No better feeling than a player coming through your academy and going on to win the Ballon d'Or in 3 successive years

After 21 seasons, this feels good. Cheers lockdown!

This thread has opened my eyes on why my tactics Sometimes "collapse" during the second half of a season.

Incredible read. Ever since I read through it I actually started having 2 completely different tactics, a rapid gegenpress counter system for bigger opponents and a possession based wengerball for worse opponents (better or worse usually just means set up offensively or defensively, the actual quality of the other teams players seems less important when I pick the right tactic). I went from 9th and 6th in the championsship to 1st with a 14 point lead! Loving life now

    Did We Go Too Far?

I dont think the Real Madrid U19s are normal..

    I mean you're not wrong Mr.Schnabel

The best free transfer capture ever. He never moved from Dortmund and Dortmund have massively underachieved in my FM save, not even in Europa League. Surprised no big clubs swooped for him. Buzzing for next season

    Posted: 19 Jun 2020 07:54 PM PDT

But it's only normal in such a match ‍♂️

    Posted: 19 Jun 2020 02:34 PM PDT

    Wait what...

    I’m loving FM!

(Sorry about the flair I wasn't sure what to leave for it)

A few weeks ago I bought myself a fancy gaming laptop as a treat, I felt I'd deserved it after getting dumped during lockdown, and all my hard work at... work, before lockdown. I immediately got FM and started it up.

I'm currently in a Hearts save, going through my pre-season in my second year with them, and oh boy I'm having so much fun. We finished 7 points off Rangers in 2nd last season, which I didn't think I could do, as well as testing some youth, here's some of my highlights of the year.

    • I called Jay Charleston-King, a 16 year old poacher up to the first team during an injury crisis, and in his first 2 starts (including one against Celtic) he grabbed 2 goals! Definitely staying in the first team picture now.

    • Anthony McDonald was recalled as soon as possible from his loan at Dunfermline, since Hearts had no depth or money at right wing (I play a pretty basic 4-2-3-1) and he was phenomenal, now linked with Celtic unfortunately.

    • I had to make the decision to sell John Souttar, our star product and captain in the making, since he felt he'd outgrown the club. Reluctantly after initially saying yes but for the right price (which he felt was wrong) he was out the door for £9.5M, which caused a stir in the dressing room, got that sorted too.

    • I won the Scottish Player's Manager of the Year in my debut year, which I was super proud of, it's great to get recognition for your hard work!

    • Uche Ikpeazu finished 2nd in the Golden Boot race, with 19 goals even after a sports hernia around Christmas. Andy Irving won the Young Player of the Year award too, so we have a bright future ahead!

I don't know if anyone will read this but I had to share how much fun I'm having with this save, here's to turning Hearts into a league winning side! (hopefully)

    Um...are you okay Tony?

I almost signed this guy for 80 Million

Summer transfer window of 2023, PL clubs spending hits almost £2B as Chelsea spend a whopping £409M in one window. Bundesliga and Serie A spending both near £1B as well.

One of the greatest goals i have ever scored in FM, 90 meter dribble followed by a perfectly placed shot from just outside of the box. What a lad!
