    Please use this thread as a place to ask questions that are specific to your save, such as:

    How important is experienced players in FM? Do we really need to have a 30+ year old veteran to win key knock-out games or it's just tactics and form/morale of the team even if the average age is below 24?

    I tend to lose SFs and QFs against big teams, but it may well be the difference between the stature of both teams. Everytime AI asks (I do believe Pre-match Press is a great hint on how the match is going to turn out), if I will be lending support from the experienced players from the dressing room, i feel like it wants old players. My current save has Frenkie (26) and Diallo (25) as the oldest players in the squad. However, most of the core has been playing together for 3/4 years now. But do I need a retiring Modric or Matuidi or Milner just to win key games? I lost to Dortmund away 5-3 to lose on aggregates despite winning 1-0 home leg in QFs of Europa (qualified for the first time). I was missing Diallo, Tonali, Vagnoman due to yellow card suspension and Arp due to injury, so most probably, that's the reason but lost 1-0 to Manchester United in FA cup semis.

    Football Manager Press Conferences

    I feel that the guys over at SI & FM are overwhelmed with duties when it comes to making new developments regarding the game(match engine, overall interface, accuracy of scouting database).

    In saying so, feel as if they could shed some of that responsibility to their loyal fans:

    Fans could, at their own leisure, write a sequence of questions that would be asked by journalists in the FM press conferences and tunnel interviews etc. as well as a set of answers to said questions.

    It would be nice to have a newer, more dynamic interface with regard to the journos in the game. A new set of press conference questions & answers could be released at the release date of each new game as well as new sets throughout the year with every update of the game.

    Obviously FM would have to review these and make sure they don't denote hate speech or use profanity etc.

    Just my opinion... What do you think?

    Little thing to try if you're looking for quality regens

    Type "faceinthegame" in your search bar and you'll see tons of regens that share their names with the developers. Select all of them and add them to a shortlist. Turns out one of the devs (Looking at you, Facundo Illa) flattered themselves and made themselves an Argentinian wonderkid attacking midfielder, who now plays for me.

    Mine was 3 days, 2 hour naps when required and completed 2 seasons, highly recommend and don't at the same time
