    FM Scumsaving alignment chart

I told my wife that we’re listing him for loan if he doesn’t start working towards his five star PA.

Because I could never remember which country is in which scouting region, I made a handy chart. Maybe you'll find it useful too

I guess he just avoids using his feet then?

FC Kaiserslautern custom kits, request by u/xWillT. The captain/striker of his team just came out as gay so he wanted to celebrate that.

In all my years of playing FM I’ve never seen something like this.

Keep an eye on Fortuna Sittard for FM 21

    Posted: 29 May 2020 06:32 AM PDT

So recently a well known businessman in Turkey (Acun Ilicali) announced he is interested to buy Fortuna Sittard. He is known for producing reality shows like Survivor or Britains Got Talents Turkish version. He is one of the richest person in Turkey.

So you will ask why this is interesting. Another rich guy buying another team. To be clear he is not worldwide rich such as people buying premier leauge teams. So the team will not be Manchester City rich or he is not buying the team to win champions leauge.

He stated that he wants to scout new prospects. As far as i know eredivese has no restrictions for foreign young players so this makes a team from netherlands perfect for young talents to show themselves.

I'm not suggesting that they will have an amazing youth system or so, but with money and club targets, this club can be very interesting to manage in FM 2021 if this buyout happens. It can be a good challange against Ajax, Psv

Hey guys! With lockdown going on I've developed the unhealthy obsession of making kits for all my obscure FM saves. If you are looking to start a save with funky kits in the spanish lower leagues, I'm your man! twitter.com/ComposerKit

I haven't seen that one before...

For those of you who do non-league to Premier League saves...

    Posted: 29 May 2020 02:58 PM PDT

How the hell do you do it?

I started with Malmesbury Victoria in the Hellenic League Divison One West and after getting 4 promotions in 4 seasons I've hit a wall in the National League South, finishing mid table for the past 3 seasons.

My annual wage bill (£98k) is dwarfed by the top teams (Woking top the charts with a £969k wage bill per year) and the number of home fans I'm getting has barely changed in the past 7 seasons (we're lucky if we get 130 home fans)

Is there some magic formula I'm missing, or is it just a case of keep plugging away and hoping we get lucky one season?

    All help appreciated!

Is he Worth it? £120 Million

I'm not good at Football Manager. And I hate it.

    Posted: 29 May 2020 09:36 AM PDT

Here we go again. Me buying the latest edition of FM, dreaming of that 20-year, trophy-laden career, developing unproven wonder kids into elite, multi-million pound talent.

    Never to be achieved.

After middling careers with Reading, AC Milan, and Bristol City in past editions, I took up the mantle of Borussia Mönchengladbach this year. Plenty of exciting talent in a challenging league.

Same old story. Set up solid tactics, chosen to fit my team and play to my players' strengths: blitz through pre-season. Swatting aside pish local teams and European heavyweights alike. Then the Bundesliga kicks off - and its all downhill. Every flaw in my team is exposed. Every change to correct a problem creates a new weakness to be exploited. Getting caught on the counter? Let's drop the defensive line a little. Now I'm getting pillaged by long shots, or rampaging full backs are pinging in cross after cross for my wimpish defenders to flap at.

No, go back to your pressing game, high up the field, lots of possession. Surely that'll produce some results? No chance - sumptuous, free-flowing attacking moves result in feeble shots straight at the keeper. Then my defenders, dallying on the ball, get robbed time and time again, for opposition attackers who normally put in a 6.3 to run the length of the half and slot past my experienced keeper with ease.

The sack looms. Nothing I do works. I'm sick of it. I don't know how everyone else seems to have such successful careers. If anyone can offer any encouraging words I'm all ears. Or it's back to FIFA. Which I'm equally not very good at.

Making Stevenage Steven Again - Part 7: All Hallow's Steve

Making Stevenage Steven Again - Part 7: All Hallow's Steve

    Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6

Steven Stevens is making a name for himself in the footballing world. And that name is Steven.

    Previously on MSSA:

Despite being projected to finish bottom of the Championship for the second year running, my team of Stevens, Stephens, Stefans, Stefanos, and Stevensons is making a push for the play-off spots. Can the Steves get their 3rd promotion in 4 seasons?

The Steves Start Coming And They Don't Stop Coming

I don't know what is it about this team that seems to really kick on in mid-December. Some strong performances in December and January, boosted by the arrival of Stefano Cester from Inter, see us right in the mix for promotion. February is even better, and the potential of my Steves is proven by the Young Player of the Month Award.

Stephen Naismith scores more than Steven Naismith these days

We still have a problem conceding late equalizers and winners, and we struggle to hold on to a clean sheet, but the whole XI seems to be able to pop up with a goal here and there; we win 1-0 thanks to another free kick from our keeper Steven Benda. In fact, we hold on to our form consistently enough that we're not just looking at the play-offs: with 5 games to go, we have a serious chance at automatic promotion, and even the title itself.

Bums are squeaky around the Championship

We win the first of our five final games with our favorite scoreline, 3-1. Our next one is a shambolic 3-1 loss, which includes 2 injuries and a red. Next, on our trip to 19th-placed Rotherham, they help us out by getting a man sent off 20 minutes in. 36 shots later, we draw 0-0. We've surely handed over our chances at the title and even automatic promotion.

    The Bottle Is Contagious

That is, if the teams around us also weren't incompetent! On the final day, we need a win and results to go our way to determine if we need to battle it out in the play-offs. Our final match goes to halftime goalless, but we pick it up late on and get two goals to do our part. Amazingly, Swansea lose to bottom of the table Preston, and we're guaranteed a top two spot!

If only you knew how limited those resources actually are

We're top of the table on 81 points, but Crystal Palace lurks in 3rd place with 79 points and a game in hand. A brutal few days follows when finally Palace play Middlesborough to decide the title. I attend the game in my new Boro shirt but my expletives and flares aren't enough to faze the Eagles as they win 1-0. Still, we're in the fucking Premier League.

    Shiny New Steves

With a (relatively) huge new transfer kitty to play with I get to work on acquiring some Premier-League-quality-adjacent Steves. Jack Stephens comes in from Southampton, and Dale Stephens comes in from Brighton. Stiven Plaza, a long term target, comes to add more firepower upfront. Stefan Stangl, an Austrian left back, comes in and I accidentally promise him penalty-taking duties because I think he's someone else. Speaking of...

Real men cried at this one

Derby are relegated despite Penrice contributing a goal every other game, and I spend the rest of our money to bring the li'l bastard back. The press are shocked that I've managed to acquire a "wonderkid", but he recognizes the power of Stevenhood and is really our only chance of getting enough points to stay up (I'll be happy with double digits). As our opener with Burnley approaches, I'm starting to think we can actually stay up and ah shit he's out for three weeks. We go down within 20 minutes, and I get ready for a long season. But then, former transfer record Ivan De Stefano links up with his fellow Stefano for the Stevens' first goal in the Prem.

    De Stefanooooooo!

Around the hour mark, I bring Dale Stephens on. 5 minutes later, he smashes on in against the post from 20 yards. Ben Kennedy adds another in extra time. I've taken a team from League Two to the Prem in 4 seasons, only buying Steve-based lads, and with a hard Brexit. Keeping them up will be the hardest challenge yet, but I'm already 30% of the way to double digits so it can't be that bad. Right?

I got the game around October and like to think I've got a good idea about it

But does anyone have like something things they do before a game , EG look at the next opposition and find what opposition tactics would suit best or what to do ?
