    Curious about Football Manager, Continued

    Hey everyone. I made a post yesterday expressing interest in Football Manager, and since then I've downloaded the demo and put a few hours (Definition: About half a day) into it.

    One thing that was clear right away was that I basically had no idea what I was doing, and I was mostly just going along with everything that the game suggested, with my main influence being in the tactics, player positioning, and signing new talent. And, probably as a result of my lack of experience, most of my attempts to manage a team did not go especially well, with one team making their first impression by almost losing to their own Under 19 squad.

    However, I can't help but feel invested. It feels good whenever something goes right. From a victory, to one of my players scoring two goals in one game, to even just getting positive feedback from a pep talk. I have extremely low expectations for myself in this game, but I want to keep playing and get better at it.

    So yeah, even though I have seemingly no talent for it as of now, I'm pretty heavily considering playing the full version. And hopefully I'll end up with a few stories to tell.

    That's an exaggeration but the boy has 19 finishing and can't finish a happy meal?

    I have him playing as an AF in a 4-1-2-3. I'd be shocked if I didn't have at least 15-20 shots in a game but somehow he's struggling to score. He's scored 5 times in the league and 3 of those have been penalties.

    Someone please help me out. What am I doing wrong?

    Many people might remember me as the guy who conceded 92 goals as he got promoted to the premier league. I can confirm safety and a top 10 finish in my first premier league season after conceding 95, yes NINTEY-FIVE goals in the prem.
