Me after buying my 17th regen of the season

Am I the only one who gets reality and FM mixed up?

    Posted: 30 Mar 2020 04:27 PM PDT

I spent far too much time this evening trying to find a player who I thought was a player in real life. Later it dawned on me he was a regen from a bygone FM game.

I think you can safely assume that I am losing my mind whilst on lockdown.

Without a doubt my craziest ever 'FM moment'.

I mean I thought expectations would be high but...

Warning: If you buy this brilliant young Italian striker you're going to end up singing his name to the tune of Despacito every time he scores (which is a LOT).

I've never seen this before. Barnsley and Bristol City had the exact same record and needed a random draw to determine relegation. They even drew both games against each other 1-1

My balanced, 2 eccentricity, 8 aggression loaned goalie got 3 red cards and 5 yellows so far in 16 matches

    That's ambitious

My U-23 player just scored 8 in a friendly. I've never seen a player score this much in a game.

I've been struggling for goals lately, with teamwork like this it's easy to see why

I always try buy legends that are retiring for the last 6 months of their career. Harry Kane still has it at 37 though. £6m bargain.

Discussion about unusual roles equivalents in real life

    Posted: 30 Mar 2020 09:27 PM PDT

Today I was having a fm discussion with a friend of mine about the less common tactical roles, in this talk i got to the conclusion that the way Messi plays IRL is the perfect definition of what the Trequartista role attempts in game, as he mostly floats around the entire "third quadrant area" even if on paper he is either a left winger, an advanced midfielder or a foward.

Another cool one I can remember is Muller as the Raumdeuter (sorry if i misspelled it)

What do you guys think about it? What other players fit well to the more unusual roles?
