    I was a manager of Milan for 4 years (2018-2022), I've managed to win with them Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italia (each of them once). In the last season, my team was a beast in Champions League, with Krzysztof Piatek as the best goalscorer in both CL and league. In the quarter-finals I've won 1 match against Atletico Madrid (away) and I was getting prepared for the 2nd match and boom... I've lost my job. However it was great in CL, in league it wasn't so good, I was at 5th place (but it was getting better and better). I never got so triggered by a video game, I've put so much effort in this club, I was planning everything etc and the CEO of Milan decided to fire me :v

    Welp, I'm waiting for a signing to the bigger club, so that I can buy the most valuable players from Milan.

    Would be great if we could turn off opponent goal replays. I've never once gone behind in the dying minutes and thought yeah I'd fucking love to watch that again in three dimensions

    Think it's from FM 2008. In a crazy loop of events, the referee gave 3 penalties within 2 minutes, my players managing to miss them all. (in Dutch)

    This dude in my save, who's inconsistent and has just a bit of pace and below average finishing, composure, off the ball (and pretty much everything else), just keeps banging goals in the Bundesliga for fun (110 in 158 for Wolfsburg). How??

    The Great Player Project 2020 Part 0: Player Submissions

    I posted about this earlier in the week and despite lukewarm reception I'm going ahead with it anyway.

    The basic premise of the project is that users on the sub will "create" a young player (template below) who will randomly be assigned a PA of 160+ (approximately 5% will be 185-199 and at least one will be guaranteed 200) and released into the world as free agents. We will then track the players until ~2040 or until all have retired following their transfer dramas, award wins, etc.

    FUTURE THREADS

    This part is copied from the original thread about how the threads will be laid out and basically what will happen.

    1. Updates will be every June with updates as who moved where, who scored the most etc.

    2. Everyone's potential will be somewhere in the range of 160-200 (with one person definitely being 200 potential). I will be using Random.org to determine peoples potential and I'll randomly select 5% of submissions to be 185+ potential and 1 to be 200 potential.

    3. With every update we will be looking at:

    • Who is the most valuable
    • Who is the biggest earner
    • Who has the best average rating
    • (any more suggestions for what we can track would be appreciated)
    1. At the end of the project we will look at:
    • Who had the biggest singular transfer fee
    • Who had the biggest overall transfer fees
    • Who scored the most goals in all competitions
    • Who made the most assists in all competitions
    • Who made the most appearances
    • Who stayed at one club for the longest time
    • Who played for the most clubs
    • Best XI
    • Who won the most trophies

    I am currently testing the database, making sure everything works etc. but I'm curious which leagues everyone wants, and if you have suggestions. Currently I'm thinking:

    • Sky Bet League 2 and higher
    • Bundesliga
    • 2. Bundesliga
    • Ligue 1
    • Ligue 2
    • La Liga
    • LaLiga 2
    • Serie A
    • Serie B
    • Premiera Liga
    • Eredivisie
    • MLS

    Not sure if anything would be worth cutting, would prefer not to add much more for fear of simulating a season taking a full real life year, but feel free to give feedback. I will not be adding players submitted after 10 PM EST tonight (1.5 hrs after this post).

    So ive been playing fm for a while but i always had this doubt in my head. Should midfielders go to attacking unit or defending unit in training? Does it depend on the role they play? If someone more experienced could help i would be very gratefull.
