    Please use this thread as a place to ask questions that are specific to your save, such as:

    • "Why is my tactic not working?"

    • "What role should I play this player in?"

    • "I have £xxm to spend, who should I buy?"

    If you are asking for tactical help/advice, please post an image of your formation and what insutructions/roles you have set.

    As a rule of thumb, if you ask a question, answer a question. This is what keeps this thread alive and useful.

    Would anyone like to be in my Football Manager game?

    Weird question, I know. But I've got a new laptop and thus sitting on the fence on if I should start a new file.

    Usually I write a blog story documenting my made up Plymouth based team 'Plym City' from tier 13 and upwards, however I like to spice the game up by putting an OP player in a randomised tier 12 club.

    Looking to add upon this level of spiciness I figured I'd add a whole dynamic and add....Well people from this subreddit to Redditch FC (See what I did there?).

    Instead of being OP I'll use a number generator to determine each players stats, could be amazing, could be awful.

    So, if you want in and regular updates on your player just leave the following.

    Instead of adding everyone to Redditch (None of y'all will get game time in one team) I've opted to have every player join a team in either the Welsh, Irish or Northern Irish League. When editing said player I'll draft them into one of five teams! (Think that's a tad more fair?)

    Writing this might be a nightmare too, so I'll possibly opt to stream.

    After watching the Brentford game on Friday, I became quite intrigued in Brentford's recruitment policy and after watching plenty of clips on YouTube about it, I found it quite interesting and was very tempted to try and implement this approach into a save on FM.

    I'm just wondering has anyone tried this before, and if so, what kind of tips would you recommend?

    Experiment - Youth intake

    I have taken Wrexham in the pre game editor and improved youth facilities, junior coaching and made youth development one of the preferred club thingys.

    I have made every available staff position including HOYD, coaches, manager, etc, American and given them 8 club affiliates from various levels and locations across America.

    My hope is that Wrexham will start to produce American regens. I have so far simmed 3 season and not one American. I've set it to sim another 5 seasons overnight and I'll update in the morning.

    Maybe this has been done before, but I couldn't find anything on it. If anyone knows of any blogs/videos of this type of youth intake manipulation experiment, please drop the link in the comments.

    I have found the god tactic. This is season 2 and I've just took over at OL so the gap isn't too big between these 2 sides and they actually finished above us last season. This tactic is on another level

    Non-EU confusion

    I must be missing something in the fine print because I am confused. I am playing as Empoli in Serie A. I brought in two new players in from South America that triggered on the first day of the new window. One I am going to send out on loan so I don't need to register him regardless. However the game is not letting me register the other who is going to be a star player and it says that I need to free up a non-EU spot even though I am not registering any other non-EU players. Anyone know why I cannot register him?

    New camera angles for FM22

    It's not too much to ask, but I think it would make the 3D simulator a whole lot better if there was a wider variety of camera angles used to portray the match.

    1. When there is a goal-line clearance review; it would be great if there was a view of the ball on the line.
    2. In penalty situations maybe a more immersive view behind the taker/ keeper.
    3. Late drama... A camera angle to show the reaction from the crowd for a late winner would be great.
    4. A pan across the players faces when they are all lined up before the match would be awesome.

    Any criticism/ further suggestions?

    Who is your most hated coach to play against and why?

    Mine is Jurgen Klopp. I swear he makes everyone play 150% every match. In my latest save he went to Barca after 3 years and they are dominating the whole league. Even if my squad is better I have to pray to FM gods to win, because he will make Pedri run 40 miles in one match.
