    I signed this lad @ 21 y/o in a British only save with WBA. He's been with me for 7 years in a team which does... Well. Not great. Can't break into top 4. But the last 6 seasons have had 5 Europa/conference finishes.

    Man's been through a journey with us. Spent 2 years at RB until AWB got transfer listed at Barca. While I already had the RB position sorted I thought, "Hey, Tariq can shift over! Brilliant!"

    AWB's stay ends 12 months later as united return for him. Healthy bit of profit as expected. But for my poor man Tariq there weren't too many solid options at LB for replacements. My save is following suit with team life and producing plenty of great RBs. But the Luke Thomas's out there (who I've been targeting for what feels like 4 years now) just can't seem to reach an agreement with his club on a transfer fee, no I'm not paying more than 60mil+ for your LB.

    In my most recent contract renewal I had with Tariq. In the promise negotiation, he asked if I could sign a LB (hadn't seen that one before). I took it off the negotiation and we moved straight into chatting numbers.

    EVERY transfer window. A giant comes in for Tariq. Every time I reject it. Every time, Tariq gets upset. And EVERY time we end up having a conflict, disagreeing with eachother, but he leaves it at the door and puts on his boots and steps out there at LB again without getting upset.

    Entering his 7th season. His 12 transfer window. Probably the 12 times we've butted heads, and the 12th time he's seemingly not too bothered about it. 188 league apps for me, a majority of which not in his best position. First name on the team sheet. 0 trophies...

    I have to say. We all deal with those difficult buggers, who moan and force exits. But I just have to put it out there, in a place where people will understand...

    Tariq. You're a legend. I wish more players were like you. ❤️

    Title says it all really. I'm not a big fan of just copying set piece routines from big streamers as there isn't the same sense of satisfaction as creating your own (plus some of them are borderline exploits anyway, looking at you Zealand).
    I was just thinking how much I'd like to be able to set up some routines and watch the training to see how they actually play out rather than having to figure it out by watching the highlights of multiple games to be able to tweak them. Would this be a feature that others would be interested in?

    Unknown South American regens wanting 100k

    Anyone else get annoyed when the very good, but not yet starting 11 south American regen you've bid for, sometimes as little as 5m, suddenly expects to be paid 100-150k as if they're coming in as a starter.

    Beggars belief, I instantly walk away, then watch them get signed by another south American club and earn like 25k

    Why (or how) FM maintains my love from football

    I'm what we can call a "Son of 98" : one of those French kid who fell in love with football in 98 when we won the world cup. Back then, I wouldn't miss the few games I could watch on TV (almost cried when Bayern lost to Man U in 99) As my favorite club is becoming a freaking circus (FC Nantes) and seeing all the stories around French football, I found myself less and less interested : not watching the Ligue 1 anymore, not watching the French Team except for the international competition, I gradually cared less for a sport I deeply love.

    But one thing always gets me back to watching and enjoying football : FM. Whether it's trying new tactics in FM or reproducing tactics I see live, or finding some old club with history you want to bring on top. Whenever I watch a football game, my first thought is "can I reproduce this tactic?" For example, in the latest Euro final, we saw some inverted wingbacks and I wanna try to play around it. I saw Chellini overlapping on the left and I wanna try to do it. I saw Kovac having a modular 3412/ 442 and want to try it. Aml those tactical innovation are super fun for me to explore and I find myself watching football just to get new ideas.

    Are some of you like that? Or is there something else with FM which fuels your passion for football?
