This is possibly the greatest NPC story I have ever seen. They played without a manager for two seasons. During this time, they earned a promotion from Ligue 2 and finished 15th.
This is by far the craziest goalie I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. Signed from Rennes for 36mil (almost signed for 60mil the prior season) he went on to break Petr Cech's shutout record. Barca paid 148MIL for him making him the world's most valuable player. The perfect Goalkeeper.

Playing since FM 13. All the experience, skills, and knowledge I've built up since then have culminated into this. Chesterfield and I went straight to the top!

Man United activated Inaki William's release clause and I could not persuade him to stay.

I now have 96 million pounds in my budget but nothing to spend it on.

I have scouted every Basque player available and there is nobody I could get to improve the team. Only Griezman and Laporte would be upgrades but they won't talk to me.

On a positive note the younger Williams brother looks decent and will fill in for him this season. I also bought 4 16 year olds that look really promising but they need a couple seasons before they are ready.

Ty for listening. I go cry now.

Feeling lost with this game - with 1000+ hours of FM

I'm not sure what to do with FM. I've started a few saves over the course of FM2021. I have over 800 hrs in FM19 and over 500 in FM20 and 21, and yet I feel like things are out of my control. One tactic yields 20 shots per game with solid defense and regular 3-1 or 2-0 wins for two months, only to have me grind out 0-1 or 0-0 results against bottom-5 teams with 4 (1) shots for and the same-ish against for a while.

Vertical tiki-taka, gegenpress, counter-attacking, 5-2-1-2WB, 3-4-1-2, doesn't matter. Obviously I'm making slight adjustments but I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel here. I'm consistently not getting results despite having good squads and viable tactics. Is there something I've just forgotten? Is there some "duh!" Thing I'm missing out on? Please, I don't care what it is, any advice you have I'd love it. I feel so lost with this game that I love from top to bottom.
