- Me, the manager of a Championship club, when the board says it can't afford Erling Haaland
- When you finally get a wonderkid who drags you into the prem single-handedly...
- So how many attackers do you want on your team? UEFA: Yes
- Newcastle fans next season: We want Joe Willock. Steve Bruce: We have Joe Willock at home... The Joe Willock at home:
- Can we please get a "I had to use all 3 subs on injuries" or something. I'm sick of this.
- This might be the weirdest combination of nations ive seen so far
- sEvErAl PlAyErS
- Anyone else never bother with a GK on the bench?
- Seems like a hard guy to please.
- Won the title (serie C/C) and promotion with Paganese!
- I have no idea why Real Madrid is doing so badly in my save. My GK got two assists.
- Wild Game in Which my CB scored a Hat-Trick and the opposition played a 15yr old in his senior debut out of position (Conference League).
- Can anyone explain what the fuck is Barcelona trying to do?
- The game ended 2-2. There keeper had a 10.0 which I’ve never seen before
- Managed to get 2nd and CL after being promoted for the second time. Talented players needed some time and a relegation, but fully delivered this year. Come on The Linnets!
- Playing against my IRL favorite team, Partizan. Hurts my soul that I have to beat them
- Unemployed and Uneducated (PART FOUR)
- The best attacking efficiency I’ve seen on FM21
- Celtic literally got out of Group of Death while also beating PSG 3-1!!!!
- Low Average Rating For DM with DLP Defense-tight marking (<7)?
- Been playing FM games since around 2012. Today completed my first invincible season
- How about that return on investment?
- Yeah he should clearly be dropped by Algeria. Couldn't agree more.

Unemployed and Uneducated (PART FOUR) Posted: 25 May 2021 05:02 AM PDT PART FOUR PART FOUR - IMPOSSIBLE? So, there I was, entering the ground, inspecting the empty stands and the perfect pitch I was stood on. "I made it", I thought. It was a big, sentimental moment, but I couldn't spare much time for that. We were in 5th place with thirteen games left. I wanted to bring Rosenborg back to Champions League football, where they hadn't been since 2007. And to get there, we would have to win the league. Closing a ten-point gap in thirteen matches is difficult, but impossible? Nothing is impossible. The first match was going to be in Trondheim, but not in this stadium. We were playing away against Ranheim, the second team in the city. I replicated the system that I'd introduced at Brommapojkarna, an aggressive 3-5-2. We didn't have a great start. Ranheim took the lead within the first ten minutes. We didn't reply until right before half time. In the second half of the first game, we were far better, but we just weren't able to put the ball into the back of the net. Had I come all this way to represent my club and be just as mediocre as the last manager? Were I just one of the managers who would come in, fail miserably and get sacked? Not this time. 87 minutes were played when Kristoffer Zachariassen scored. 1-2. The danish striker that the previous manager had brought in from Bodø/Glimt, Kasper (yep) Junker added another to make it 1-3 in stoppage time. Three points that we desperately needed and three points that would be the first of many moving towards the end of my first season in charge. We followed it up with another narrow win, this time at home to Kristiansund. But then we lost bitterly away to arch-rivals Molde. The next month and a half went well. The team had already been knocked out from the domestic cup and European qualification, so we only had one thing to focus on. After the loss in Molde, we looked unbeatable. Winning most games, drawing some. Then came November. The leaves had all hit the ground and so had the temperatures. The snow had started to fall on the streets of Trondheim. But we found ourselves higher up the table. The impossible distance between us and the top of the table suddenly didn't feel so impossible. We kept our momentum going with a 4-0 away win against Bodø/Glimt. If we could just beat Vålerenga, the league leaders, we would have the same amount of points as them. They opened the scoring early, but within the first fifteen minutes, Kasper Junker had put us on equal terms. We went into half time with 1-1, hoping to turn it all around in the second. But in the 48th minute, our ball-winning-midfielder got a red card, as ball-winning-midfielders do. We were playing perhaps the best team in the league, away, with one man down. Five minutes later, we scored from a freekick. We were in the lead, but we had almost one full half left. It wasn't going to end well. Well, the clock ran down, and we still found ourselves in the lead. Ten minutes left, five minutes. All of a sudden it was stoppage time. The ref put the whistle in his mouth, waited a few seconds, and blew it. We got all the three points in Oslo. But elsewhere, Strømsgodset won their match. As they were one point ahead of us initially, they took over the top of the table, with us sitting right behind. Two games were going to decide the destination of the league title, and we probably needed to win them both. We prepared for the next match against guess who: Strømsgodset. I could tell the story of the second to last match as an epic one. With red cards and switching leads. But it really wasn't. Ousame Sahraoui scored after nine minutes and we dominated the game. They didn't have anything. Not even Football Manager could take the win from us, even though it was a narrow one. And it ended 1-0. We were top of the league for the first time this season. All we had to do now was beat last placed Jerv to seal the title. And considering the two other title contenders, Vålerenga and Strømsgodset, were playing each other, we could even make it with a draw. But we weren't gonna take any chances. It was an entertaining night at Lerkendal, but it was never particularly exciting. 1-0 after 12 minutes. 2-0 after 29. Two goals early in the second half meant there were no doubts. Rosenborg had won their 29th league title. I won my first top-flight championship. And most importantly: Qualification for the Champions League was waiting for us next summer. [link] [comments]

Low Average Rating For DM with DLP Defense-tight marking (<7)? Posted: 25 May 2021 08:08 PM PDT So for the background, I start new game managing Leeds and have Kalvin Phillips in this position. My tactic is 433 based on creating crowd in the middle of the park to free my wingbacks to cross to the far post. Most of the time, DLP is always provide a pass before the assist by the wingbacks. The tactic is going well, in a good day we dismantle City 3-0 in Carabao Cup. The only thing that bother me is his rating is most of the time is below 7. I think this is weird because even though he is not assisting, he is quite busy defending (>4 tackles per game). I prefer Defense role because in attacking phase, whole team going up except two CBs and him. Is any one also having this situation? [link] [comments]
