Posted: 22 Apr 2021 10:27 AM PDT ​ https://preview.redd.it/gjldtmfcgru61.png?width=1500&format=png&auto=webp&s=b78b4f877f47e402461fa509cbe065be798b076b ​ DISCLAIMER: I am not an artist and this took me a lot of time even though using some existing stuff because its basically the first art project by me We Wanted to coach somewhere in Eastern Europe in clubs that are somewhat close in terms of location and finances/squad, but not too big clubs. We agreed on Mlada Boleslav and Slovan liberec. To assert dominance and fit my role as a Liberec Manager I immediately trash talked his club and most of all his Logo. However we both thought it looked ugly and their old one was way better so i put together a new one inspired by the old one. After that i also tweaked the Liberec Logo. Even though its a game I tried to not do a complete rebrand of the club like those out of touch real life club do recently and instead tried to incorporate the history of the club and make it look like a football logo. For Mlada it was the addition of the Code of Arms of the region it is located in together with two orange footballs to represent the secondary colors and a newer Version of the Lion that was present in its old crest. However i also tried to somewhat incorporate the stripes from the current logo and therefore put in those to half circles in the lower part of the logo. I also just for fun came up with a slogan: stará láska nerezaví which google tells me means something like: old love never gets rusty. I choose it because the Club and the City are heavily supported by the Skoda factory located there which heavily supported the local economy and also had many workers played for Mlada in the past.
