One of the best comebacks I've ever seen. 6-3 down from the away leg, then 2-0 down at home after 7 minutes, Dortmund then score SIX to win 9-8 on aggregate!

Brighton 2023/24 UCL winners (and both domestic cups) +thoughts game difficulty

Hi, first post on this sub, concerning my 2nd save in this year's FM.

So, don't know if this is that much of an achievement, but my Brighton side finished 10th, 10th, 4th and now 3rd, and then won all 3 cups on the fourth season. I've really enjoyed this save, but I feel it peaked way too early, atleast when compared to my saves in the earlier editions of the game. Anyone else feel the same?

The route to the final wasn't easy at all, facing these teams in the KO stages: Leverkusen, City, Real Madrid and then Barcelona the final.

My team is good, but nothing special when compared to the top sides. Key performer probably was Yusuf Demir, and it kinda felt like cheating when I signed him in summer 2021 with a fee of like 75M (consisting mostly of high addons). Don't know if Brighton should be able to make signings like that but here we are. Besides Demir, other key signings include a trio in summer of 2023, consisting of Jordan Henderson on a free and a double coup of Soucek and Rice for around 45M for the pair after West Ham were relegated.

This is my lineup for the UCL final and my big game tactics, relying heavely on the counter attacks with 3 fast strikers. The lineup consists of mostly familiar players, but in goal I have a regen wonderkid keeper, and then on the bench few more regens (Barrena, Stott, Lucas Antonio)

Overall I'm just feeling a bit empty right now, the progress seemed to be achieved too quickly, especially when compared to my previous Atalanta save where I achieved UCL glory only on the seventh year.

I know it isn't really an achievement to win trophies with Premier division sides due to their huge budgets, but I was a bit surprised this, and posted this if someone wants to chat about the dificulty levels of this year's edition.

How often does this happen? Haven't touched the Danish league at all in this save. Europa League and relegated in the same season.

I was confused how he got a 10.0 until I saw the key passes... Dani Olmo with one of the greatest playmaking performance of all time.
