The new Conference League made the premises for the most epic FM challenge ever!

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 06:37 PM PST

I was just studying the details of this new competition and I noticed how most of UEFA federation will lose their place in EL, even for cup winners, and they'll get relegated to Conference League (not really fair imo, but that's not the point). Then I thought about Liechtenstein: they only had one European place since they only have a national cup, but they've also been relegated to Conference League. Then I thought how difficult it gets for them getting access (theoreticacally ofc) to Champions League and then it hits me...

Now you can try an epic impossible challenge with a Liechtenstein team!

    • Year 1: win the national cup.
    • Year 2: win the Conference!
    • Year 3: win Europa League!!
    • Year 4: win Champions League!!!
    • Year 5: win Club World Cup!!!!!

It's not only impossible because you have to bring to glory a shitty team. Every single fail will force you to start over, because you can only qualify to Conference League! You have access to the next tier only by winning the previous competition!

I think they should make a Steam achievement over this! xD

Thoughts on FM21 so far and when to buy the game

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 02:46 PM PST

    Hey all!

Long time FM player here who got his start playing Championship Manager back in 2001. I only buy the game quite rarely nowadays but am wondering what the thoughts are on FM21 so far.

I purchased FM20 but wasn't a fan of the game engine.

I also remember generally waiting to buy FM several years ago until January due to various patches. Would it be recommended to wait again or how is this game as is?

    Honest answers appreciated.

Why do I miss so many penalties?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 07:01 PM PST

I am in my 5th season, and my opponents have missed a combined total of 1 penalty. My team on the other hand, have missed more than 50% of them. One season we were 1/7. What am I doing wrong. My penalty taker has 17 in both penalties and finishing so it's not that
