    My first invincible season ever!

    In 9 years of Football Manager, I have never managed a season with no losses (cue 20th place side scores in 90th minute memes)

    I don't know if "the game is easier this year" or not, but I do think there are a couple of teams in the CSL which, because of registration rules and ridiculous budgets, are pretty easy to craft into title contenders (by buying up the best Chinese nationals at overinflated costs). I started a season ago at Guangzhao and was given 147 million (and a subsequent FFP ban) and am a two-leg final away from my real goal here, getting my first trophy in my quest for a Pent.

    What if Messi had ZERO loyalty?

    Hey guys, we all know Messi as a one-club legend.

    I wanted to see what would happen to his career if I changed his personality to someone who does whatever he wants to do.

    To do that, I changed some of his hidden attributes.

    All Changes

    I changed his loyalty, professionalism, and temperament to 1, and I changed his controversy to 20.

    Additionally, I made it so that he will leave at the end of his contract, that way he will leave Barcelona for sure.

    I changed his wage so that clubs can afford him, and changed his age so that he is now 18 years old.

    Messi

    First Season

    So the first season went by, and Messi played quite well (obviously).

    First Season Stats

    He scored 30 goals and got 17 assists with an average rating of 8.22.

    With his help, Barcelona was able to win the league with a 4 point gap from 2nd place, Real Madrid.

    First Season League Table

    Barcelona also won the Super Cup and Spanish Cup, so they got a domestic treble.

    However, they did not do too well in the Champions League as they got knocked out in the first round against Dortmund 2-3 on aggregate.

    Since his contract was coming to an end, there were some clubs interested in his service.

    Transfer Interest

    Liverpool was the only club to bid for him. However, there were interest from Chelsea and Bayern as well.

    Second Season

    He ended up signing for Liverpool.

    His contract was 155k a week, so nothing ridiculous there.

    I holidayed until the end of the second season, and these were his stats.

    His average rating was great, but he did not get as many goals and assists I expected from him. Still, a great season nonetheless.

    Surprisingly, they could not win the league, ending up one point behind Manchester City.

    Liverpool also signed Lautaro Martinez at this point, so their squad was looking very strong.

    Liverpool could not win anything else and were knocked out in the semi-finals against Dortmund 4-2 on aggregate.

    Messi had lost two draws in a row against Dortmund.

    Third Season

    Messi signed a new contract with Liverpool.

    He signed a 300k a week contract, so it seems like he will be staying in Liverpool for the near future. However, his controversy rating is 20 and loyalty is set to 1, so anything can happen!

    Look at his goals and assists tally! 2 goals and 8 assists in the WHOLE season. What has happened?

    Liverpool was utilizing Messi as a center midfielder since Salah was their main right winger.

    They had signed Haaland as well! It is just not fair at this point. They have Lautaro Martinez on the bench.

    So how did they perform in the league?

    Unsurprisingly, they won the league -- but only by one point.

    In the Champions League, disappointment for Messi once again.

    They came back from 4-0 down, but lost in penalties. Guess who missed a penalty? Messi (or Missi).

    They could not win anything else other than the league.

    I've just lost in the champions league semi final thanks to a 120th minute penalty and I can comfortably say this is the worst thing to ever happen to me.
