My brother lives on the other side of the country. We both love FM so we thought we'd give an online game a go for the first time and absolutely love it.

To up the stakes of the game, we've come up with a bit of a gambling system where we can win money off each other by winning stuff.

We've been tallying up the winnings throughout the season and come june, one of us will pay up the difference.

We started as Cardiff and Swansea in the championship and i used the pre-game editor to make their reputation, bank balance, transfer budget and wage budget the same to make it as fair as possible.

Here's the list of potential winnings:

Player of the month = 50p

Young player of the month = 50p

Manager of the month = £1

Manager of the year = £3

Division Player of the year = £1

Division top goalscorer = £3

European GK/Def/Mid/Att of the year = £2

European player of the year = £3

Ballon dor winner = £5

Golden boy = £2

Win at home against eachother = £2

Win away = £4

Win championship = £5

Win Premiership = £10

Europa League = £5

Win CL = £10

Win FA Cup = £5

Win League Cup = £5

It's definitely added a level of pressure to every decision and multiplies the happiness i feel when i see his Cardiff team getting stuffed by Watford and his best player pulling a hammy
