    Please use this thread as a place to ask questions that are specific to your save, such as:

    • "Why is my tactic not working?"

    If you are asking for tactical help/advice, please post an image of your formation and what insutructions/roles you have set.

    As a rule of thumb, if you ask a question, answer a question. This is what keeps this thread alive and useful.

    I am in the team of people who start thinking about selling my players as soon as they reach 27 years old. It sometimes frustrates me to get rid of one of my club legends just because I am afraid he ends up not good enough to play for me and too late to make money.

    I have been doing some experiments to be able to predict players decline more accurately, thus to know whether I should sell them or I can keep them until they retire with me while still being useful on the pitch (so the romantic way to end our relationship).

    I would sim some years, flag some good players to follow then sim some more years to see how they evolved and have a look at the editor to see their decline.

    This man prove me all wrong: Danielle Lelli.

    I was lucky enough to be there few days before his retirement. When I looked at the editor, the guy was standing at 199 Current Ability (CA) over 200 Potential Ability (PA).

    He retired at the age of 38 while still being a key player for a dominant Marseille side (8 league titles, 13 domestic cups, 3 Champions league)

    I guess he basically retired because he was tired of going to training. The lad could have continued his career, with no issues at all, for another half decade

    Thanks to him (and others I found in the experiment), many of my club legends will be born, raised and buried at the club <3

    There are two cheats in FM that would be great in real life:

    The first is: Remove all injuries.

    The second is: Remove all unhappiness.

    Using those two cheats together may not necessarily result in you winning games of Football, but society would be completely upended for the better.

    I've seen some people go wild and bring in 15 players a window for free. Mostly on non contracts. How do people find them? I go scouting—> players there's not a lot for me to look through. Certainly can't find many first team quality players I can pick up for free
