• I know nobody cares, but since the only friend I used to talk about Football Manager to recently passed away, here's my 3rd season Newcastle starting XI (post Chinese takeover)

• 37 year old club legend in his last season at the club, gets a 5 month achilles tendon injury, returns and does this in his 2nd game back. Got a lump in my throat man, this fucking game I swear.

• The game keeps insisting we are underperforming (only "being on way to promotion" and not "challenging the title") even though we are doing exactly that.
• I hadn't play any football manager game since LMA 2002, untill I bought FM Mobile 19 on special. I'm 20 years into my 30 year tenure as manger of Slough Town. Ive decided that I'm not going to buy any more players and see how successful my youth transfer policy's workout.
• Good news indeed. New owners promise impressive cash injection - a generous bounty of “£0”. Ah, an internal transfer embargo imposed meanwhile. What does the media guy consider bad news ?
• He's only 15
• 2 of my mates, absolute limbs in the party
• First season in Ligue 1. Last day of the season. Had to beat Rennes (2nd place) and have other results go my way to avoid the relegation playoff. We finished 17th.
• I’m starting to think picking Ligue 1 for my first FM save was unwise
