FM was taking over my life so I devised a system where I have to earn minutes of FM by doing other (more important) tasks. Worked a treat so far, I've been insanely productive plus been able to play without feeling bad about it!

Rant to us about a player on your team you hate, but can't replace.

I'll start. So, I have an Argentinian right back named Germán Batista. He was originally a center back, but because he was only 5'10" and relatively quick, I trained him to be a right back. Literally the worst right back I have ever used. He constantly tightly marks inside forwards and let's the opposing wing back have all the time in the world to cross the ball. Constantly out of position, bombing forward while in a defensive mindset stuff like that. But with all of that, he is a god with a dead ball. Need a throw in at the half field mark to hit the far post? He's got it. When it comes to free kicks he's like calhanoglu back at Hamburg. It's like an abusive relationship. Every time something bad happens, I plan on putting him on the transfer list. Then, not 20 seconds later he does something fantastic that makes me forgive him. But God, I hate this guy.

I simmed to the end of the 29/30 season (so a decade), AMA.

I don't know if this will gain any traction at all or not but whatever.

So yeah, ask me anything about clubs, players, national teams etc. I don't know if it's far enough to do an AMA but I do plan on simming further though.

Before you say, I am aware I spelt weird wrong on my username

EDIT: Obligatory on mobile, so sorry for formatting EDIT 2: Only the English, German and Spanish leagues are on my save EDIT 3: I'm going to bed. If you've got anymore questions I'll answer them when I wake up

I enjoy reading the slightly more wordy updates of people FM careers so thought I'd try and do one my self - without it being too deep on detail!

We are running FM19 - I dont normally play that much, so during lock down just used what I had.

Our story starts with Southampton, which should be a great start for a career. A team not majorly pulling up trees. But with a great youth system and, what I assumed to be, a solid squad. There will be no issues here. Build a team, buy some youth. Bring them up to standard. Push for europa the year after, then onto the champs and winning the prem. Standard objectives for myself. HORRIFIC start to the season. Sit in 19th for most of the start, knocked out the carabao. The tactics and players just dont work. My system falling to pieces in front of my eyes. December the 10th - relieved of my duties and sacked by the club. To be fair who could blame them. I wouldn't of kept me either. I may have done it earlier if I was the chairman. My actions lead to southampton being relegated. Never recovering from my time in charge and keep hold of 19th to go down.

In the mean time, I decide that maybe a snapshot decision shouldn't be made and go straight back into management. Let's wait for a team with potential to go to. Offers come and go. Until poor little League one Shrewsbury come along at the end of January. 1st of February I take charge. My aim simple - avoid relegation. They were not in relegation places sat in 18th. The rest of the season goes relatively easy. We finish 11th, miles of the play off, but safe from relegation. On to building a team that can challenge for the play offs.

A few loans, some free agents and youth to grow into solid players. Happy with the squad and feeling good about my chances. We absolutely storm League one. We fall early in the carabao second round to forest away. The Fa cup, a 4th round defeat to Chelsea away. The money will no doubt be helpful. But we were never really contenders to win. The checkatrade trophy however was ours, beating some reasonable teams along with Liverpool U23s and man city U23s. The league was an undefeated season. Yes we drew 18 of the games, but who cares. We won the league quite comfortably.

Onto the championship - a consortium takes over. Could my season about to get so much easier?! No is the the short answer. Yes finances were slightly more stable, but funds available to me were limited. My self appointed aims were literally to avoid relagtion. Matched by the board. Although we had that undefeated season beforehand I knew the championship would not be easy. How wrong I was. Rose to the top of the table. Only lost 5 games overall, but most worryingly was losing to the bigger teams in the league, a couple of times quite comprehensively, and the rest draws. But I would pick point up against smaller teams they seemed to struggle with. Promoted, won the league by one point. One part of me happy that we made a doddle of the championship. The other half worried as I know that there is not enough quality in this team for the prem.

Into the summer - 30 million to spend. Tried to invest wisely. Bought a couple of premier quality players and some other hopefully good players to fit into my team of championship and league one players. But 30 million would not spread far enough to cover all of my gaps. The season in the prem is another brutal one. Escaped the relegation zone a couple of times early in the season. But alas, it would not be enough. 19th place, again. I seem to like 19th. Not sacked by the board as all I had to do was fight against relagtion. We fought, but could not escape.

Back to the championship now, with a reasonable team. Maybe this could be a blessing - providing I hold onto some of my star players.

Time to rebuild, take the league and reattempt promotion to the prem and finally stay in it without getting sacked or relegation. Who knows if I'll achieve it.

    Only time will tell!
