My current League 1 team finally got promoted to the Championship but my save failed to load the 2026/27 league games. My finances show what lower league clubs could potentially deal with during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Proudest moment in my FM career- won the champions league against the holders with 5 starting academy graduates (Roberts, Cunningham, Galbraith, Wylie and Smith). Woke up the neighbours when Roberts scored the winner

I won the Bundesliga and it somehow felt worse than losing it.

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 07:54 AM PDT

When I started at FC Würzburger Kickers 17 seasons ago, I set out to one day win the Bundesliga. After struggling for the first few seasons in the 3. Liga I finally managed to get a good working squad together and won the league. It took me five more seasons to get promoted to the Bundesliga. The first season there I managed to stay up, defeating SV Werder in the playoffs.

After that I managed to steadily climb every other season, until I finally managed to compete for the title. The first season of being a title contender I was 2nd place on the last matchday playing Dortmund who were in first. Unfortunately they beat me and I ended up finishing 4th. The 2nd season I could once again still win the league on the last day, though this time it wasnt in my hands. I lost, schalke won and I ended up finishing 2nd. The 3rd time I was in first on the last matchday, but lost my final game and ended 3rd.

So then this season my team somehow blends perfectly, and I manage to get so far ahead that I can win the league 6 rounds before the end. It was not as exciting as winning on the last day, but I was happy nonetheless that I would finally win the title.

I continue to my matchday and mentally prepare to celebrate the title if we would get a point from this match. And there I see a little message in my inbox.

    Wurzbürg have won the Bundesliga.

Schalke played their match a day before mine and lost, completely robbing me of the excitement of feeling that clock tick closer knowing you have finally achieved what youve been working towards for 17 seasons. Even winning the champions league (though for the 2nd time) right after felt empty, and I havent been able to touch the game since then.

tldr: After 17 seasons I finally managed to win the league in the most anticlimactic way possible.
