    How Football Manager got their standard for each roles?

    Hello, I'm new here so please bare with me.

    I'm a fans of football manager games and now I'm currently working on my thesis to finish my bachelor degree in informatics. My thesis is about choosing right player for starting eleven, and I use player attributes from standard football manager which is consist of 34 attributes, and I use football manager standard for every roles key attribute and prefer attribute. So my questions are why did football manager uses 34 attributes and how football manager got the standard for key and prefer attributes in each roles?

    I often run a little search just to see which players in the world have most experience and this is the first guy I remember who is over 1,000 overall without me managing him.

    You can see from his career history that he's been about for a very long time - I had to zoom out loads just to fit his career on one page. He's played the last 433 league games or more over 12 plus seasons and has only missed one league game out of the last 612 in 17 seasons. Brad Friedel eat your heart out.

    He's not particularly good of course but tbf he's not too bad either for a 37 year old who has spent his entire career in Azerbaijan.
