I had to share our largest victory of the season so far. The Augsburg manager earlier in the season said he thought relegation candidates of us.

Probably one of the best low star rating strikers I've seen. Has all the attributes in the right places and is overperforming in the Championship for that reason

Honest opinion: this is the best ME in years

    Posted: 06 Dec 2019 01:01 PM PST

Now I'm not saying this year's ME is perfect, I fact I agree with most on here that it needs a LOT of work, namely still with 1v1s, crosses from the byline, and penalties. But as someone who has played since fm15, I've noticed a lot of improvements from past iterations. Some big ones:

It's much easier to get goal scoring inside forwards to score this year, where as in past years it felt impossible to get the most out of players like Ronaldo and Neymar (I'm talking real life levels) without the rest of the team being stupid overpowered

Dribbling is much improved from last year and seems a lot better for players without insane pace

Midfielders actually assist more often in proper situations and now actually cross.

It's possible to dominate possession a bit more against weaker teams, closer reflection to reality

Sweeper keepers actually attempt to sweep

There are still a lot of improvements that can be made, 1v1s can still be better. Over the top through balls are perhaps still too easy for less technically gifted players and decision making on the byline needs improvement. But a lot of the things I've seen already are good, and I really enjoy having them. Wonder if anyone else agrees

(Big Club management) Is asking the board to sign players OP this year?

    Posted: 06 Dec 2019 04:30 PM PST

Hi guys, question in the title. I'm not talking about the "i need some more transfer budget" i'm talking about the , "Signing (player X) would show we mean business" where they just take over the entire process start to finish. So far, i've got my board to agree to vinicius Jr (75M), Donarumma (105M) and Harvey Elliot (165M!!!!! all money in english pounds btw). This is all within 3 transfer windows in a normal starting date.

on all 3, i had less than 20M available for transfers at the time. so not even like 1/4th of the actual cost of them. On Donarumma and elliot I actually just save scummed back to an old version (theres no way to stop the transfer last minute once you asked the board to take over.. is there?) I did this because I thought its obscene, I cannot let my club bankrupt themself. I kinda more just wanted to see what happened when I had clicked the board option, but it nearly always works for absurdly expensive players i cannot even hope to afford. i haven't done it more cuz after you do it once in the transfer window the option dissapears... maybe thats their safeguard from making it too op, but its still OP as fuck.

Has anyone else found this? Im assuming its a big club, rich club thing, but like i said, even though the overall finance of the club is super healthy at the time these fees were agreed to i had almost no actual transfer budget cuz i already spent all of it.
