So I have played football manager for years. I have grown attached to many players and have been thrilled when some have turned out to be good and frustrated when the rest have not.

Today I travelled from England to Germany to watch Hertha Berlin v RB Leipzig. Firstly, because it's a great city and a really good stadium but also because through FM we have developed a deep love of Davie Selke.

He is a sub for Hertha and very rarely plays but we thought it would be great to see the city, the stadium and at least be able to see the electronic legend warm up.

The game was good and RBL led 2-1 at half time. There was a fantastic presentation for the 30th anniversary of the collapse of the Berlin Wall. It was fantastic and the Hertha and Leipzig fans were so loud in the game it was excellent.

But at 4-1 down, and 1 minute left it was about to be the final whistle. That is when it happened. My FM hero who came on with 15 mins to go scored with his one and only chance. Final score Hertha 2 - 4 Leipzig.

For those who like to "pimp" FM with Real Logos, Facepacks, ect...

Announcement:
