I have sunk hundreds of hours every year into fifa since 2010. Last week I downloaded FM19 and realized in 1 day that I have been pulling out my hair over the wrong game for a decade.

Everything I wanted fifa to be, everything I hoped it would become each year, is what FM has been since the beginning.

In just one week I have felt hooked to FM in a way I never felt with fifa. I'm sure my life will soon come crumbling down around me but at least it's because of the media convincing my wonderkids to leave and not timed finishing and red-headed white regens from Japan and Nigeria.

For the past 5 years, fifa has been drifting away from the aspects of career mode that I loved, starting with axing the creation center. I knew FUT was a cheap hooker that would only leave me feeling more empty inside, so I quietly suffered in a loveless, failing marriage with career mode for several years. Now that I've met FM and I've realized what true love should've been all along, I'm eloping.

TLDR; after 7 days of playing FM, I no longer have any interest in playing fifa even though I am in the closed beta trial.
