    For example you start with coaching the U20 of your team and get called up if the main coach gets sacked. I definitely would appreciate this, since real coaches often also start with the youth squads.

    I have done the stupidest thing ever

    So let me set the scene,

    After finishing 4th last season in the Portuguese Premier league, I know that my best players were gonna get poached.

    But by pure luck, I managed to find a 21 year old Uruguayan regen, that fit perfectly in to my system and replaced a key position in my team.

    All that was required is that I play him in his preferred role, and he had a minimum fee release clause to foreign clubs, which was only:

    £1.600.000

    Now you're probably seeing where this is heading.

    Over the next season we win the Portuguese League Cup, the Taca De Portugal, and surprisingly the Premier league, having not lost a game from January onwards in the season.

    The value of my players skyrocketed. He was no worth £30 million. Especially after he won players player of the season, fans player of the season, highest average rating, and for the most assists.

    Understandably other clubs become interested, so I go to offer him a new contract, which he refuses. Again, not to worry, I'll just increase his asking price - that is until I see that I forgot to offer him a new contract.

    25 clubs interested, all bidding 1.6 million, and he refuses to even consider staying. He's a high influential player so all the dressing room is behind him. So my star player, worth 30 million, is off to Tottenham for 1.6 million...

    I'm such an idiot.

    I do have FM 2019 mobile, but I DO NOT have the pack with the international team management (I'm Spanish, so if you didn't understand, it's the option of managing countries like Germany, Uruguay, Argentina, etc). My question is: even thought I do not have the option to start directly managing a country, I've seen that I can apply through the "jobs" window, can I manage a Country, even thought I do not have that feature bought?
