I took over Cefn Druids in the 19/20 season. They've never in their history won a Welsh Premier League title & with TNS's dominance I thought it would take a while to topple them. BUT in our second season we finished 22 points ahead of TNS in 2nd. It was a glorious over achievement.

This meant that lowly Cefn Druids were in Europe next season, so I stuck around to see if we could retain the title. We were unceremoniously dumped out of the CL qualification knockout rounds by Dundalk & dropped into the EL, where we were drawn against even tougher opposition in Slovan Bratislava.

We smashed-and-grabbed our way to a 3-1 win in the away leg and shit-housed ourselves into the lead at home before conceding two goals in the last 5 mins to make me sweat, but WE BEAT THEM! Huge result for such a tiny club..

We're drawn against Molde in the final knockout round and they have some reeeal class players. Magnuss Wolff Eikrem has been a star on my FM saves before. He's 30 & worth £1m meanwhile I've been rejecting £5k offers for my best players. What a run it's been though.

BUT HOLD ON WE ONLY WENT & BEAT THEM TOO & WE'RE IN THE GROUP STAGE & WE'VE BEEN GIVEN £2.6M (MILLION!) + whatever other financial nuggets come with taking Welsh minnows to the wilderness of European Continental Competition Group Stage.

The Molde games:

1st leg

1 - 0 to Cefn Druids

1 - 2 to Molde

3 - 2 to Cefn Druids & FT

2nd leg

2 - 0 to Molde after 5 mins

2 - 2 after 12 mins & we held on with GK POM for FT

Our home stadium has a capacity of 3,000. In the Slovan game we broke capacity records at ~3,100 & against Molde we crammed ~3,600 in.
