    The Pentagon Challenge - Complete!

    Posted: 18 Jun 2019 12:42 PM PDT

I finally did it. Started with Sunday League experience and no badges and clinched the Champions League in 5 continents.

Here is my journey (I wasn't planing on posting so it's fairly brief):

    Save name: Pentagon and Teller

Started in China - unemployed for nearly 2 seasons, applying for any club job I could get in the country. Side note: I applied for every coaching badge as soon as I landed a job until I maxed it out.

    Beijing BG - 13/12/19 - 7/6/22

Jia League Title (2nd Tier - promoted to top division) - 2021

    Resigned to take next job

    Guangzhou Evergrade - 7/6/22 - 5/4/25

    Super Cup - 2025

    Sacked

    Telkem Knockout (cup) - 2027

    ABSA Premiership - 2028

Total CAF Champions League - 2028 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AFRICA COMPLETE

Resigned and loaded North America and Mexico

    North America:

    Resigned and loaded South America

    South America:

    Rosario Central - 15/2/30 - 29/6/37

    Superliga Quilmes Clasica - 2035

Copa Liberatores - 2036 SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE COMPLETE

    Recopa Sudamerica - 2037

    Superliga Quilmes Clasica - 2037

    Resigned to head to Europe

    Europe:

    Everton (the team i support IRL) - 5/7/37 - 7/3/40

    Europa League - 2039

    Carabao Cup - 2040

Sacked by my boyhood club right after knocking Sevilla out the Champions League 2nd round. I drew 1-1 at home after winning 3-1 away, but the board had told me they needed better results 2 games before. The game before I "only" beat Stoke 1-0 so they were not happy. In their defence, I was 9th in the league, but heartbreaking either way.

    Man Utd - 9/6/40 - present

    Carabao Cup - 2041

    Premier League - 2041

    Community Shield - 2041

    Premier League - 2042

Champions League - 2042 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE COMPLETE

    PENTAGON COMPLETE

    Memorable Player:

Edgardo Vega - regen who came through the ranks at Rosario Central while I was in charge. Several 20+ scoring seasons and I sold him to Man Utd for 20 million (I didn't want to hold him back!). He was still there when I got to Man United and scored in the Champions League final to complete the Pentagon Challenge. Poetic eh?

Best regen name I've ever seen

You just sit there knowing it was outside the box but he still takes like half a minute to check

(FM17) 2088, and still seeing something new (FM17)! Yes, I applied for and took the job.

How about this for a title race?

    Posted: 18 Jun 2019 08:07 AM PDT

Missed the penalty? It's okay, give it another go, buddy.

If you had one shot or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted, would you capture it?

    Posted: 18 Jun 2019 03:10 PM PDT

Thought my 1000th match in management was going to be a match to forget but instead was one of the best late comebacks I've ever seen

    Posted: 18 Jun 2019 04:42 PM PDT

I bet neutrals enjoy these matches, 'cause I sure don't (34 total goals in 3 matches)

Apparently we're all living in some guy called Xavier Calm's FM save

Never had it just not happen before

    Asking the real questions

    Posted: 18 Jun 2019 09:34 AM PDT

When you perform brilliantly in every competition par one, so the board make your job security very insecure/Precarious

    Posted: 18 Jun 2019 04:36 PM PDT

I know many people have probably done this, but I just had my first undefeated season and I'm excited!

    Posted: 18 Jun 2019 05:07 PM PDT

I won't even attempt to bother with games against City anymore
