If you're looking for a team to manage, a challenge to do, or you yourself have suggestions for teams/challenges for other people to do, use this thread to discuss.

This is to seperate these kinds of questions from the Help Thread, which is more for gameplay/tactics questions

Who is the best player you ever managed? What’s their story?

    Posted: 22 May 2019 12:08 PM PDT

Personally - Jean Jacques-Fievet, FM15, French man signed from Rennes at barely 15 years old. He was already an established starter (although mediocre ratings), I was thoroughly impressed. Bid £20m and ended up paying £27.5m with £17.5m in clauses, a ridiculous price for a 15 year old in FM15, let alone a youngster whose only played 14 games. He stayed there out the season, came back to me a 16 year old CF/IF (Right wing mostly but worked from either), loaned him to Sevilla with low expectations for the season. By April my head scout sent me a report claiming he was world class, gave him 4* out of 5* and as the season ended he won yPOTY for La Liga and runner up (ahead of Ronaldo) for POTY. He was forced to be a starter for me at just 17, barely 17 even. By 24 he had won 3 Ballon d'Ors, played 252 games for me scoring 352 goals and assisting 101. A central part in me winning: Two trebles, 4 CLs and 6 PLs over the 7 years, and a European Championship, World Championship and Olympic Games for France, scoring 40 goals in 47 games, featuring in the team of the tournament for every of the three.

He had a PA of 200, which he hit at barely 20. Almost unarguably the greatest player of all time, and a name I will never forget.

Some key stats: 20 flair 20 finishing 20 pace 19 passing 19 dribbling 19 composure

First 9+ goalkeeper match rating I've ever seen... and it only took a hattrick of penalty saves.

My best goal this season. High press, force opponent to go long, gain possession, build up and hit them when chance arises

Adam Johnson never played for Liverpool though...

Pressing and marking is extremely broken in the game. Why did 3 players feel the need to close down a single player and leave a winger unmarked?

Am I the only one who uses YouTube fan songs as background noise in big games?

    Posted: 22 May 2019 05:19 PM PDT

So basically, whenever I'm playing a big game, I go to YouTube and search for a video of fans singing, chanting, just generally being loud to get me in the mood for a the game (something like this https://youtu.be/H9YlnHfI4D0 ). Recently got caught doing it so I was wondering if you do it too?
