    I finally managed to get Clyde to the premiership, and looked to be heading toward a solid mid table finish. St. Mirren (currently placed bortom of the league) contacts me, offering me a bigger transfer budget in january. I take the job, poach the four best Clyde players and secure survival while sending Clyde down. It felt evil, yet satisfying.

    After 8 seasons and 4 attempts to get promoted from the National League, I have finally gotten Rugby promoted to the Football League!

    This is probably my longest save without having major success so finally earning this promotion feels like a big success.

    Next stop: the Premier League!

    Goals to hitting the post ratio in FM2019?

    Been feeling like I hit the posts an awful lot lately, so wanted to ask some other FM19 players what their ratio looks like. Currently this season I'm at 125 goals and 66 finishes in either post or crossbar. Now I've been playing this series for an awful long time, and cant ever remember it being this bad.

    Sugestion to the devs (or modders)

    It's not secret that the FM games are made for football fans interested not only in tactics and other aspects of managing, but they're also made for fans interested in the realism, and thanks to SI's attention to detail, those fans should consider themselves fairly satisfied (I'm mostly excluding the ridiculous animations, which is something I hope finally improves in next year's entry). As one of those fans, I decided to make this post to address a little thing that bugs me a little bit and could be easily fixed. This detail is the impossibility of playing as an already existing manager. Why would I want that? Well, first, because it's very unrealistic that PSG fires Tuchel without even playing one match and not giving any excuses, and secondly, because it would be super fun. If we play FM it's not only because we want to manage our favourite players, but also because we want to be like our favourite managers. There are some ways of making the game more realistic with only created managers though. One thing I could think of is that of letting the player select the excuse of their appointment (for example, friendship with the president, club legend, etc.) and of their predecesor's dismissal. It would be cool as well that if you could edit your manager's records as a footballer, instead of the game create one randomly without much logic.

    I know this sub is mostly for memes (which I think is great btw), but I thought that maybe some of you may share this wish with me and, I don't know, maybe make it happen.
