Every CM(and Winger) should be able to at least be unconvincing as either RM or LM

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 12:33 PM PST

It's honestly ridiculous how most CM's in this game are completely unable to play RM or LM. I'm not talking about being a master, but at least being able to function in that position. It makes playing a 4-4-2 almost impossible because no one can play those positions. And the same should apply for wingers. All you have to do is drop back. Come on SI

I don't think I've seen a team have a bigger fall from grace while playing FM.

When do managers usually to retire?

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 08:44 PM PST

In FM 18 it's around the start of the 2026-27 season and I just led my Serie A team to a Champions League trophy. I'm waiting for Arsenal's manager, Carlo Ancelotti, who is 67, to retire so I can manage Arsenal.

His contract ends at the end of the season, but his position is "Very Secure" even though his highest league finish in 8 seasons was 4th place (Can't make this shit up LMFAO).

Do managers usually retire when they are old and when their contract expires or at some point randomly when they are old?

The poll has finally closed, and results tallied I figured, I'd go through the results with you. The 1st question on the poll was who the manager should be, and the winner, by an overwhelming margin, was..... Jose Mourinho. The special one. You'd be suprised at how many of you wanted to live the life of the most interesting manager in the world. I'm going to be downloading the latest squads, with that option taking over 51.2% of the votes. I'm going to try and fit as many players as possible into the game with 27.6% percent of you picking that option. Real Staff will be used, no add on nations will be added and we are doing GBP weekly as our method of payment.

On to the next order of business, the club. I made a shortlist of 75 teams that I wanted to manage this year in FM19. None of these names are neccesarily big name teams, but I wanted to have a predetermined list in order to make tallying results easier. Again poll closes March 5 at 12 am GMT so get voting

So what's the crack with work permits now then?

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 05:40 PM PST

Trying to sign south americans as a championship side is a nightmare. As we all do, I love scooping up the mini neymar's and using them to dominate leagues, but none of them can get WP's in the UK. The scout report always used to list the chance of the permit getting granted or not, but now it doesnt, so im wasting time doing deals which always fall through.

if its going to be like this all the time, which other EU leagues can i manage in that dont have strict WP rules for south americnas or africans?
