Bought a Scarf from a team I been Managing Since 2013- Salernitana Posted: 19 Feb 2019 06:29 AM PST Hey guys! So in 2013 I started a save with Serie C side Salernitana. I am currently living in Italy and just so happened to have traveled to Salerno. Before boarding a train I went to get a water bottle and noticed this shop sold scarves of Salernitana! So glad I was able to get something from the team as they are a small club and don't really have much merchandise. Forza Salernitana! https://www.fansshop.eu/4373-large_default/salernitana-sciarpa-141.jpg [link] [comments]
Pro Piacenza Career: Episode 1 Posted: 19 Feb 2019 06:46 PM PST Right, Welcome to episode 1 of my Pro Piacenza career today we have the first part of season 1. Pre Season: Right, in pre-season I knew I'd need some new recruits as our team was quite average, so the first signing I brought in was 40 year old wing-back Gaetano Vastola. Our other signings included 36 y/o goalie, Massimiliano Benassi, 21 y/o winger Paolo Rrapaj, 37 y/o left-back Angelo, 35y/o centre-back Filippo Gatari, 24 y/o attacker Marko Dugandzic. Ok. I'm not going to bore you by telling you every pre season result but we did pretty well even beating Eredivisie side Zwolle. The Results: Virtus Verona (Cup) Away 1-1 Goal(s): Alessandro Quaini Virtus Verona (Cup) Home 2-1 Goal(s): Oliver Urso, Valerio Nava Cuneo (League) Away 0-1 Goal(s): Filippo Scardina Siena (League) Home 1-0 Goal(s): Giuseppe Sicurella Pro Patria (League) Away 0-1 Goal(s): Giuseppe Sicurella Pontedera (League) Home 0-1 Goal(s): Arezzo (League) Home 1-1 Goal(s): Christian Ledesma Monza (Cup) Away 2-2 (1-3 pens) Goal(s): Filippo Scardina, Alessandro Quaini Alessandria (League) Away 1-2 Goal(s): Filippo Scardina, Giuseppe Sicurella Gozzano (League) Home 2-3 Goal(s): Matteo Perotti, Sedrick Kalombo Novara (League) Away 1-3 Goal(s): Filippo Scardina (2), Giuseppe Sicurella Pistoiese (League) Home 2-1 Goal(s): Alessandro Quaini, Sofiane Kadi Overview: Right, a surprisingly good start to the season sees us sitting in 4th after 9 games and also into the Serie C cup 2nd round. The best moment for me so far has to be the penalty shootout win against Monza where our GK literally saved us the game with 3 penalty stops but to be honest every game so far has been a highlight seen as we haven't lost 20-0 yet and we even beat Cuneo (The team that won 20-0 Irl). My favourite player so far is definitely Valerio Nava, he is Mr. Consistent and can always pop up with an important assist to get a game going. The Stats: League Position: 4th Top Goalscorer: Filippo Scardina (5) Top Assists: Valerio Nava (5) Highest Rating: Valerio Nava (7.34) Thanks for reading episode 1 of the Pro Piacenza Career, please leave any constructive criticism in the comments and goodbye. Forza Piacenza. [link] [comments]

The Greatest Football Manager Story Ever Told Posted: 19 Feb 2019 06:13 AM PST Many of you probably know about this already, but for you young bucks, prepare to be blown away. You might know the name Brian Phillips, as he is an award-winning essayist and writer, but in his early days he ran a soccer blog called Run Of Play. He decided to write about his FM save as if everything and everyone was real, and the result was some of the most engrossing and genuinely funny writing I've ever read. Enjoy! [link] [comments]

Posted: 19 Feb 2019 07:55 PM PST Hey all... I am doing a journeyman save and ended up at Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga. My 2nd team is an affiliate, so I can't manage my player's training on that team but can freely send players from the first team or Under 19's there. I see in the past in the save that the B Club has spent time in 3. Liga, but are in the fourth level right now. I heard that promotion from an unplayable league happens randomly and has to do with the reputation... so what can I do to raise my B Club's rep so I've got a better chance of that happening?
