Imagine finishing the season unbeaten and you DON'T win the league!
Just won the 2022 World Cup as the United States!
Earlier today someone posted asking which player role is most over powered. I mentioned in the comments that Harry Kane as a Trequarista seems to be pretty broken and he banging in the goals and assists for me. A few people replied asking to see my tactics so here are the 2 that I have been using.

TLDR: Max Transfer Budget on Slider = more budget when promoted; Max Wage Budget on Slider = reduced budget when promoted

I usually have the slider all the way to wage budget so the board are happy with wage management, but I noticed that I got a reduced budget when I was promoted.

So I re-loaded the save and changed the slider and noticed that there is significant variation in the budget provided by the board upon promotion, dependent on the initial budget (images 1 a & b) adjustment that you have selected.

In this case with max wage initially I actually received a reduced budget with less wage offered. 91k p/w to 65k p/w with the same transfer budget (8.2m).

If I had the max transfer budget initially, I get the same transfer budget (10.8m) upon promotion but wage goes from 42k p/w to 83k p/w.

Alternatively, if you compare with max transfer adjustment the budgets are 9.5m vs 13m for each case respectively.

This is quite a significant impact and I'm not sure it working as intended.

Note: I re-run the saves a couple times and budgets were the same with each subsequent promotion for the relevant slider positions.

1a. Initial Budget Slider to Max Transfer Budget

1b. Initial Budget Slider to Max Wage

2a. Promotion Budget with Budget Slider to Max Wage (unadjusted - wage decreased from initial)

2b. Promotion Budget with Budget Slider to Max Wage (slider adjusted to max transfer for comparison sake)

3a. Promotion Budget with Budget Slider to Max Transfer (unadjusted - wage increased from initial)

3b. Promotion Budget with Budget Slider to Max Transfer (slider adjusted to max transfer for comparison sake)

He plays for Inter.

I play for Olbia.

Inter are one of the best teams, if not the best team in the league. This season they're struggling...Diego Simeone is not doing as good as he should be doing with them.

But Johnathan David is...just....AAAAAAAAAAHRHGRHGHRGH EVERY fucking time he scores against me. Every. Fucking. Time. I've lost two cups (Coppa Italia and Supercoppa) to HIS stupid goals already.

It's always the same goal too. Regardless of how I set up. High line and offside...low line and offside. High line and no offside. Low line and no offside. It is UNFUCKING believable. Midfielder hoofs it, David catches it somehow, and burns my defenders who ARE NOT slow, nor are they bad in the air...what...the...fuck! I cannot wait til he retires. Fuck him. Fuck David. Fuck Johnathan David.
