    Ill try to be quick, im 22 and have a condition since my 20's that makes it really hard to play the games that i used to play (LoL, Cs and Fifa). All this games require good periphical vision and i have none now. This shit of having a bad eyessight forever and being young was really hard, and if it wasnt bad enough, i couldnt play the games i liked anymore and it was frustrating.

    I thought about giving football manager a try since i was always into career mode in fifa and lurked on this sub for a while. You're all genuine good people that help each other and share your saves and I think its awesome and that made me want to play this game aswell.

    Got the game 2 weeks ago and i've never been this happy playing a game (even tho im still shit). In FM i can stare at a screen with words for 2h if i want to, there is no rush. I love that.

    This may seem silly lol was thinking if it would be cool or not to post it but whatever ig Thanks a lot guys

    A small anecdote which starts from FM, Serhiy Fedorov (or Sergei) is someone who I have started to admire because he was my assistant manager in my FM save when I started from Kyiv. In game 3 years, he rose from a C level license holder to a Pro level license holder.

    However, the club got taken over and I didn't like it because the old owner was very nice to me. I resigned. Serhei also resigned in solidiarty.

    I decided to take a job at OGC Nice, and their budget was very small. Sergei takes the job for being my assman at half the price of what you'd expect. We spend a solid year at Nice, turn it into CL winners as usual, the club rises in status and gets fucking taken over again. Okay, I am tired of clubs being taken over so I resign, he also resigns, so I approach Madrid. Of course I am a serial winner with the trait 'Title specialist' attached to my name so Madrid hires me instantly.

    I can get any assman in the world because Madrid means infinite budget, no, I hire Sergei at 3x the rate just for his loyalty. We do well, but things get boring because you don't have to think at Madrid. We steamroll everything. I resign, he resigns.

    Now we are at Arsenal, in the past few years we have won all CLs, titles everywhere but this place is challenging a bit because of their awful recruitment policy and shambolic backroom. Also people seem to hate the club for some reason because anyone you try to approach, fucking City gets them. Okay fine, I get Sergei and offer him a contract again, he was earning 3x the going rate at Madrid, he signs a much worse rate here but he is still there. We do our thing, we clean everything, Arsenal is the second highest rated club in the world now, but the owner still doesn't want to make a new stadium despite us being full all the time and reports of fans exceeding the limit past few years. I resign, he resigns.

    Might have missed the sharing wonderkids boat, but this kid is the most beautiful regen I've ever had in FM. When I picked him up he had no ability in CM whatsoever, and now he's insane.

    I'm in 2032 now and Haaland is still the most expensive in my save at £183M from PSG to City in 2025. He had gone for £116M from Dortmund to PSG a couple of years prior.

    Do I stay or do I go? TLDR: Hull or Valladolid

    So im 25 years deep into my save, I spent 4 years in the MLS and won everything (except the CWC) then moved to Spain to manage Valladolid, I spent 5 years there and got promoted to la liga, winning it in my last year with a squad barely capable of going for a european spot. Dortmund then offered me the job after finishing 5th in the Bundes so I took it - 7 years and every trophy possible later, i left for bottom of the championship Hull, raiding Dortmunds youth team for talent that would develop into WC players. After 9 years I won the domestic treble (League cup, FA cup, PL) I have an amazing team which is wildly unpredictable which makes them so much fun to coach - We won the league on goal difference against a much stronger city side, and now are set to take place in the Champions league where we are unlikely to get past the QF at best.

    Valladolid however have been in turmoil for a few years now and have offered me the job

    Im conflicted as to what to do, I feel I have brought this team as far as they can go - and while some players are good enough to stick around for a CL run, most would have to leave or be benched, which I feel takes away a lot of the heart of the club.

    I also feel I have unfinished business with Valladolid, we won the league but nothing else, and despite the team being rich and stacked with good players, they havent won anything since - and never won a european trophy. The team is aging and a new owner took over who got rid of the sugar daddy money so budgets are tight and w most players being over 31, the resale value isnt high.

    I love both these teams, I dont quite know what to do, Hull are so fun to coach and I feel a connection to the team i built, but I was going to leave at the end of the year to coach a team in Brazil(they were relegated however and I dont have the 2nd division loaded). Valladolid were my first team in Europe and they still employ former players from my time there, i feel like I owe them a Europa league or ECL at the least(they qualified in 6th for EL thanks to a Barca 5th place CL win)

    I havent played fm in 2 weeks cuz I dont know whether to accept the contract offer or not, so please, please, do me a favour and choose for me

    TLDR: stay longer at Hull and rebuild the team into a CL side or go back to my og team Valladolid and win them their first ever european trophy(with financial restraints)
