    Resigned my FM20 1860 Munich save after 40 seasons and simmed 8 years forward ... turns out that I'm much worse than the AI!

    Resigned my FM20 1860 Munich save after 40 seasons and simmed 8 years forward ... turns out that I'm much worse than the AI!

    Since last year I've been running my longest save so far with 1860 Munich in FM20 and getting up to the 2058/59 season. I've been aware that I'm not the best at the game but the save had been pretty successful, I pretty much had a monopoly on the Bundesliga title, would win the Champion's League every 4 year or so, had the highest ranked club coefficient, and a new stadium named after myself. After winning the CL title again in 2057/58 I figured I would finally break myself from the save by resigning and simming 7-8 years forward to see how the AI had treated my team and if they could continue my streak... and it turns out the AI ran my team far better than I did. They not only continued my Bundesliga monopoly, they extended it to the CL as well, and scored a massive amount of goals doing so.

    My highest scoring season I had 84 scored:

    The AI immediately raised the season output to 110+ per season, topping it with an invincibles season and 117 goals scored!

    Worse evidence than that came in the Champion's League though - where I had won it every four years or so, the AI immediately went on a 7 year winning streak:

    Admittedly I did leave them with quite a few good players to do this, with this guy that I was about to integrate into the first team (had been out on loans to develop) really standing out:

    I did a save with the Super League sanctions on. In 2023, Tottenham has still not made it out of the Championship. The team is also basically unrecognizable, having lost out on all of their major players.

    Not Much compared to achievments hear but after 11 years, 5 of them in the championsip Ive gotten Spennymoor Town into the premier league, Getting playoffs for the first time all season on the final day on Goal difference, this is why I play this game

    Playing Preston NE in the Sky Bet Championship. A German billionaire bought the club and gave me $60m in the transfer budget. Prior to that I had no transfer budget and a $15m payroll. Now I've got a crazy amount of money to spend.

    I'm actually having trouble spending it. I thought I'd go to the rich clubs in division and buy their players but no one wants to come down to my club's reputation. I've sent out the scouts but they're not coming back with anything worth $10-15m. And I'm searching the player database for high-quality players (I'm thinking midfield playmakers, inside wingers, and strikers) but there's nothing great.

    What's the best way to find someone that can really change my team?
