    Well... It happened. The mighty quarantine monster got me, im getting my ass kicked in Premier League, time to start a new save. The conditions are simple :no save scummimg, no editor, no cheats, switch job only after getting a trophy. But which club should i manage? Hmm.. Lets start unemployed and see what happens. Some quick dice rolls later (to decide attributes, coaching badge and stuff) a new manager is born. The dice gods decided to get me pretty high attacking and youth development skills but i pretty much suck at everything else. Off to job center to find myself a club!

    Part 1: The job

    Holy hell, it turns out that getting a job in FM is like dating! Im rejected everywhere, even Vanarama clubs dont want me. Maybe i should dress my man in a proper suit instead of slav Adidas tracksuit? Mommy always said that first impression is the most important... Aaaanyways, back to the job center!

    <half a season later>

    Still unemployed... Even such legendarny clubs as Dulwitch Hamlet, Moors and Vikingur K. (sorry Norwegians, im not writing the full name of this team) rejected my charms. But dont worry (or do) im not going to give up, one day someone will sign me!

    Part 2: Are you sure about that?

    I got my first job! Either Louis Enrique is mad or someone in spanish FA partied too hard, but hey, im not complaining. Starting today, spanish U19 has new head coach (who doesnt speak spanish or english). Gonna play Ansu Fati as left back for shits and giggles xD Now gonna sort out the tactics and lets dive into matches. Euro cup awaits!

    <one eternity later>

    It is done. Attacking 4-3-3 tiki-taka (thanks Pep, all the best to Man City!), emergency park the bus and some weird 3-1-3-1-2 monstrosity with 3 stoppers is ready. Fixture gods set me against Czech Republic and Slovakia, should be a soft start to test my ideas.

    Part 3: What was your name again?

    My first match against Slovakia is tomorrow. Squad's looking good, green everywhere. But those names... I have to focus or i ll screw something up.

    Well, City-inspired tactic seems to work, smashed them 5-0. Good thing im not playing hockey manager or the score would be reversed. Czechs next!

    Another game, another win. 5-0 explained pretty well why krtek is endangered species in Spain. My 3 stopper tactic seems to work o.O OK, time for a break and call-ups for U19 Euro Quali round 1!

    Norway, Scotland, Switzerland-3 games and im in. Lets do this!

    2-0 with Norway. Kinda let down after earlier results but maybe it was too cold for my kids (global warming, where are you when i need you?). Meh, lets move forward.

    Beat Scotland 1-0. Hmm... Maybe its the cold, maybe scottish players in kilts or maybe angry fans with claymore swords. Anyways, got a win, secured quali to 2nd round and only this counts.

    Draw with Switzerland. Whats wrong with you lazy zoomers?! Not enough Fortnite in training sessions? Waaaait..

    <facepalm>

    I screwed up. Looked at the player names instead of positions and ofc mixed all the Rodris, Modris, Ivis, Lopez's. Bravo me! Im beginning to understand why noone wanted to hire me...

    Fixed the tactic and smashed Albania 11-1 scoring 12 goals in the process (certain goalkeeper just ended his career in my team). Next im playing against Germany and (what a surprise) they steamroll everyone. Time to stop the blitz!

    Yeah, sure. 4 injuries later im once again sitting at the drawing board creating a team with only 3 days to the big match. Its gonna be hard

    ... or not. FM gods blessed me with a spanish (mexican? Forgot exact nationality) referee. Maybe i ll just bribe him with tacos...

    It worked! Good guy referee granted me a penalty out of nowhere and sent off best german player. Still, after long, hard game (30% possession, 5 shots, 2 on target) got a win. #SpainUndefeated! Time for a break to recover whatever is left of my nerves.

    PS. Will post parts 4-onward somewhere in the future, let me know if u want me to continue.

    PPS. Any tips regarding managing a nation will be most welcome, its my first time. Stay strong and may the FM gods favor you!

    I firstly just wanted to thank everyone for the love on the post and all the kind messages it made mine & my brothers day!

    This community has always been awesome and I know a few people signed him up and messaged him about working on his determination HAHA! But how is your save going with Jack Wells-Morrison signed up?!

    I just wanted to get an update on how your save with my brother in the team is going? Is he saving you from relegation or not working hard enough...is he starting every week or back in the U18s? Comment below!
