What systems favor a Trequartista? Posted: 17 Oct 2020 04:44 PM PDT I like messing around with new roles when I manage national teams, and Spain has players that can play as a Trequartista in any position. Does it ever make sense to use one in a tiki taka style with short and low tempo passing? It feels like you'd be wasting their out-of-possession space finding if you don't get them the ball quickly. Could playing a Trequartista with an AP as well work? Is it probably silly to use a Trequartista as a lone striker without 2 IFs to play the ball to? The two things I'm interested in are a 4-3-3 with a LW Trequartista (Fati) and a RW Winger, and a 4-2-3-1 with the middle 3 as DLP-D, CM-S, and Trequartista, with 2 wingers on the side. I wish I could experiment with all these things, but there's limited international windows to play with. [link] [comments] | ||
