Just found this in my save, Frank Lampard won the Champions League with Chelsea and was sacked the next day.

Never seen a keeper have a game this good in FM.

Moved to football manager because FIFA was too frustrating and it hits me with this (I'm Groningen)
One thing FM does do well is create dramatic end-of-season situations (Detail in comments).
Guy looks like he came straight out of sunday league.
Players who are 10/20+ years in their save, what is still keeping you in the game? And what are your tips to all the new players that are joining.

Please use this thread as a place to ask questions that are specific to your save, such as:

"Why is my tactic not working?"
"What role should I play this player in?"
"I have £xxm to spend, who should I buy?"

If you are asking for tactical help/advice, please post an image of your formation and what insutructions/roles you have set.

As a rule of thumb, if you ask a question, answer a question. This is what keeps this thread alive and useful.

Also, please remember that the team suggestion thread can be found in the sidebar, so please use that and give your suggestions to people there too!

I used to play this game a lot before but this is my first title after like 3-4 years. I'm just 3 years down the save but I remember getting bored after 10 years or so. But I have seen people going till 2100! How do you manage to go that far! And I've seen players who have joined recently when the game was made free like me, and I admit even I might do with some tips :p

i think the subreddit would really benefit from having a pinned daily discussion thread, just for people to talk about their save or note something interesting. this way the sub isn't clogged up with posts and people don't have to make a post every time they want to submit something that isn't a question asking for help
