    Got caught in class playing football manager today(college student), my professor apparently also plays and since it's a media class, we're now using things that happen in my save to write stories and do "radio shows", I'm now required to play 3 matches a day(sadly maximum) but I'm now getting extra credit for it.

    This is gonna be abit of a rant but anyone finds that players typically ask for ridiculous wages when signing for your club or even when it comes to re-contracting?

    Case 1: Signing of New Players
    - I find that its almost stupid that players who you are trying to sign for your club will typically ask for exorbitant wages almost guaranteed. Its like they come with the permanent condition of "Want a big pay rise" on signing.... example would be I tried to signed Grimaldo, he asked for $270,000, which I managed to negotiate down to $245,000. PSG then came in and he chose to sign for them but he accepted $140,000 from them. Which is just downright ridiculous and unfair.

    Case 2: Re-contract of players

    - When it comes to recontracts, it is also way too unrealistic how players will ask for huge pay rises on their existing contract. This is especially so for players from your youth team who manage to break into your first team. I'll use Greenwood as an example. He was on $30,000 a week initially. After a decent season (but by no means extremely outstanding), he asked for a new contract. That's all good. But then it gets crazy in that he immediately asks for $240,000 a week for his new contract. That would put him higher than either Rashford or Martial or even Bruno Fernandes... Its completely unrealistic and needs to be levelled down. I don't think in reality there are many youth products who would ask for such crazy wages unless they already proven themselves at the highest level consistently for a number of seasons. I would think a more realistic figure would be him asking for like $100,000 at most instead of over $200,000.

    Not sure if SI games will do anything bout this but I do hope they try and tone it down. Overall it can be rather frustrating to see situations like the above 2 happening. Especially when it comes to the unfair playing field that the AI uses to sign players on contracts when competing with us.
