How do YOU run your club?

I've been playing FM now for over 25 years in its various iterations, and always played I felt a similar style. From playing online with others and reading the FM Forums , Websites , FB/Twitter/Reddit threads, I find there seem to be 3 main types of FM player

Its all about the MONEHHHHHHHHHH. I am Daniel Levy, this club makes a fortune as I wheel and Deal. Its not about results its about BOTTOM LINE.

Its all about the GLOREHHHHHHHHH. I sign the biggest players as soon as I take over because I only manage big clubs and want to WIN WIN WIN.

Its about a DYNASTEHHHHHHH. I want to Dominate the game for the next 50 years! My youth development is the finest in the world and I steal everyone elses kids.

I confess I am option 3, and once I have my youth systems in place (it takes about 10 years, because I always manage small clubs) I enjoy the pride of watching my regens and my wonderkids poached from elsewhere come through and dominate.

Also if you can think of a 4th type of Manager, rather than a sub-class of the above 3 , let me know

Making money in lower leagues

I am currently doing a tier 10 save, I'm in my 4th pre season now and when i try to make a cup/league pre season tournament i am making next to no money and more times than not I'm losing money, could anyone maybe explain why? I can attach images if that's easier for anyone.
