It's getting posted like once every 10 minutes right now, please save us mods the effort of having to remove all of them and just do a quick search on the sub. You'll find that it's already been posted before.

    Thank you.

E: On another note, please don't post coronavirus jokes either, they'll be removed without comment.

A fitting tribute for what is easily the greatest player I've ever had

I've never posted before, but I had to post about this guy and this moment.

Tuomo started in the under-18's when I began the save and he was already good enough to be on the bench at 16 in the Vanarama north. At 17 he lead the line on his own and scored 33 goals in the league, and then scored 3 goals in the 3 playoff matches, including 1 in the final to secure promotion to the National League. At that point he was good enough to be playing in League One according to my scouts, so I went to offer him a contract expecting him to not be willing to negotiate, but not only is he willing to negotiate a contract he doesn't even want a release clause so I tie him down to a new three year deal.

In the National League he was even better, scoring 42 league goals at the age of 18 and he added 2 goals in 2 playoff matches as we won promotion to League Two, and our previous captain left the club so it was only right to make this Finnish hero the new captain. The first year in League Two he broke the club record for goals, at 19, as we lost in the semi-final and then we lost in the final the next year as he and his strike partner combined for 64 goals. When we finally won promotion from League Two at the third time asking he won the semifinal against Southend on his own, scoring 4 of our 5 goals in a 5-3 aggregate win.

He always popped up in the big games when I needed him to, whether he was scoring the goals or setting up his strike partner. The front three he created with Massey, his strike partner, and Cooper-Richards (their attacking midfielder playing behind them) combined to score 583 league goals in 1602 League Games between the three of them. These three guys carried me to the Championship, we were consistently a top scorer in the league while also conceding the most goals in the league. This save was the first time that I've ever had 2 players score 200+ League goals and was also the first time that I've ever had four different players on 500+ League games at the same time. Tuomo was the last of them, and just like on previous saves I've never had a player make from the North to the Premier League. We won the Championship Playoffs after going on a 22 match unbeaten run, but Tuomo decided to retire after not playing the whole season at the age of 35 and injuring his hip for probably the tenth time in the save. If he hadn't had those hip injuries I think he would have passed 300 League goals easily. The worst part is that I can't make him a coach, so he'll just be gone, but he'll never be forgotten as he is the first player where the game has asked me if I want to retire his number, so at Boston United, with respect to the greatest player in my fm history, no one will ever wear the number 9 again.
