• Having spent FM19 taking Dover to the pinnacle of the football world, I figured it was only right to spend the bank holiday at the ground where it all began!
• only like 5 will make it to first team
• Seems like the great people of Canada are sick of being told they’re being overrun in midfield...
• Next time my assistant manager says we're being overrun in midfield, I'll think of this passage from Carlo Ancelotti's book.
• No-one dares step out of line in my teams
• What's the biggest Stonks you've ever had on FM? I'll always love all 64 inches of Angel Gomes for this sweet transfer deal.
• From League One to Europa League Champions in 5 seasons - easily my best achievement on FM19 this year
• I told them I expect them to win the league...
• Accidentally subbed Dalot for the keeper. I subbed my reserve keeper in, and now he's playing with this outfit
• First time I've come up against a female in game manager
• Not sure if Football Manager or real life

Incoming chairman wanted to replace me, a club legend, with a new manager when he took over Posted: 26 Aug 2019 01:41 AM PDT I've played FM for many years, and in fact I have a save of FM 2010 that I've been playing since I bought it. I've seen many chairmen takeovers across the various clubs I've been at but this was the most unique scenario. I'm managing Manchester United and have been there over two decades and won the PL almost every year. I'm literally listed as a Legend and the new stadium is even fucking named after me. So imagine my shock when I see this message about a club takeover with a sentence I've never seen before about "new chairman is likely to replace [me] with [some fucking scrub who doesnt even have a job] when he takes over". Holy shit talk about ungrateful. There's even another message later on when he officially takes over about how the chairman is likely to opt for that scrub manager because of his business dealings in Israel (the manager is Israeli. The chairman is english though!) Talk about realism. Some underhanded nepotism even in FM. Finally they send me a message saying that the new chairman has opted to stick with me because of my good performances or some shit. I swear. I got so fucking pissed at this game. More pissed than any late equalizer to a League 2 side. They're letting me stay because of my good performances?? Motherfucker I've done more for this club than any chairman over the last 20 years! I dug United out from midtable and won 20 PLs!! I should be judging them on their performance! I'm Ferguson and Busby rolled into one mate. I am Manchester United.
