How is the transfer AI in FM19?

I've been playing FM17 for the last 2 years and have enjoyed it. With uni coming to an end, can't see a better way to spend my time than to play FM for ungodly hours.

I've enjoyed 17 using database updates but the issue I've faced always comes with transfer prices. Even for my world class players no offers are really above their value. Loads of news articles come up with "Man City are coming with a breathtaking bid of £54M for Mr. X who is valuabled at £55M." It might seem like a small issue but with ridiculous real life transfers it breaks my immersion more than freaky regen faces do.

Are FM 2019 transfer offers and prices more like real life? Even if they're not is it worth replacing 17 with it?

I get very attached to each club I manage, and I hate the idea of leaving a club after building it up from the ground up. What makes it worse, is that the AI completely ruins your club after you leave, rendering all your hard work pointless. I like to just manage a single club and take them to the top.
