    I was playing FM19 and my Mom glanced at the my screen and told me she thought I have been playing the same game for too long. The thing is, I'm a mid-age man with two kids, and my Mom is just visiting her grandsons. I moved out long time ago. My mom still remembers the teenage me playing, at that time, Championship Manager.

    Not sure if anyone realised but you can turn off attributes in the interface settings (skin color > tick advanced box > set 1 to everything under A; it doesn't work with certain skins)

    So yesterday I started experimenting a bit. I created a new team and didn't look at any of my players' attributes and Soley relied on reports and watching my matches more closely. watching a couple of matches I start to notice my players' weaknesses and strengths - my defender with a bad first touch - my CDM who is great at anticipating situations - My young striker who loses composure when being closed down

    If you guys are like me and hate relying on a wall of numbers to determine a player's overall ability Im finding this to be a more fun, engaginh and realistic way to play FM that I highly recommend people to try out. I hope SI implement something like this into FM20

    Any thoughts?

    new to the game

    so i bought the game yesterday and it seemed like a mess to me. i never played pc games in my life and there are so many options that it seems like a mess. i know that if you once get used to it its seems normal. im going to download a pack from fmscout tomorrow with everything licensed and i wanted to create a team in the second spanish division and when i tried it yesterday it asked me to create a team in the german league and play as rb leipzig. how do i put myself in the second spanish league?

    Run with ball down right for a player who already plays on the right side of the pitch like RW and RB

    Obviously same goes for left when it is about an LB or LW.

    I never understood the point of this preferred move, where else would a right wing run with the ball from, the left side of the pitch? And isn't a winger or a back player already supposed to run with the ball on the flanks anyways?

    How often do you change your tactic to avoid "getting found out" by the AI. My tactic seems to have gone stale and wondering how you avoid doing so.
